As suggested, here is a fresh thread while we wait for the final home FB game at Reser on Saturday.
Men on PAC12 now, showing a slow start.
WBB Wednesday appears to be radio only; to be followed Sunday morning by the test vs Notre Dame which is set for the PAC12 network.

  1. Non PAC-12 link posted at the end of the previous thread for any of you degenerates looking for one.
I’m too lazy to re-post it but it’s working fine for me and someone else here.

I missed the Friday night game and so far, I am not impressed with these guys. Wyoming may be a decent mid major but I don’t think they’re a tournament team.

I know it’s early but I’m not seeing it

  2. Ugh, I hate these types of games. Every piece of trash the other team throws up seems to go in, but our guys are missing wide open looks. Cowboys have turned the ball over 8 times, to our 1, and we are somehow still down 4 points.

  3. Can someone teach these guys how to shoot free throws. 8-16 50% from the charity strip. Lucky to be done only four points at the half. Make your dam free throws…

  4. It’ll be tough for Wyoming to keep up their pace.

This is a test the team needs and needs to pass.

Reichle needs to calm down. Nerves seem to be getting to him.

  5. It’s early yet, but they’re playing cleaner ball than they were Friday night. They aren’t turning the ball over, they’re just missing long on their shots. Tinkle missed several 3’s long and the wide open jumper by I believe Thompson? Hit brick. They lack touch on their shots. The only ones who seem to have touch are Eubanks and Rakocevic inside. Other than that they can’t hit the 8’+ jumpers.

    • good teams find other ways when the shots aren’t falling. Like playing defense. No excuse for some of those wide open three’s or the back door/give and go’s Wyoming got in the first half.

  6. Another game with a whistle on seemingly every possession. If It’s not a travel, It’s a tricky tack foul. The Pac12 really needs to think about how much they’re making their product unwatchable with all of the bullshit whistles.

  7. Speaking of coaches,,,,, Are the Wyoming players playing like they’ve received better coaching than the OSU players have? Kinda looks that way to me.

  8. Beavs had a 6 or lead midway through the 2nd half but since then Wyoming has pretty much shut us down. Offense has no flow, Eubanks is getting owned by his man on both ends and we can’t hit a shot. Wyoming up 6 with 4 min left

  9. So is this the legacy that Eubanks, Thompson Jr and Tinkle envisioned when they signed on? Defense was absolute shit last year and I am not seeing anything different so far this year. Figure it the fuck out and try actually playing it.

And McLaughlin is a bust. That dude was a 4 star? Seriously? Lack of any decent PG play and matador defense is killing them. Did I die and wake up in the CR era??? Talent only gets you so far. ESPECIALLY at Oregon St.

Speaking of Eubanks, stop eating eggs and try hitting the weight room. Dude looks just as pencil dick thin as he did two years ago. Who exactly is the strength and conditioning coach?!?!?

  10. Crazy how valuable big guys are that shoot 3s… LOL at Eubanks thinking he’s close to NBA ready… Both those stretch 4s the black and white dude off Wyoming have more value than him in the NBA.

Stevie is and always was really bad

    • Stevie is a streaky player. Either he hot or cold. Tonight cold. I could tell his shots were not going in. I lost track of all the wide open threes Wyoming took. Are three were all contested. I’ve lost faith in Coach Tinkle too.

      • yeah fair he is streaky, but that just means too inconsistent in his case… and to be fair to Drew he had a good game shooting wise… Although not many boards and probably lost his man for open 3s too many times

Stevie 1-7 from 3… Manuel and Hollins had some flashes.

        • Eubanks guy owned him in 2nd half like you said. Just sad to watch this team not take a step forward this year. No flow on offense and defense looked lost at times. That’s on Coach Tinkle. My personal pet peeve is watching them miss all these free throws.

        • STjr 2-13 from the field. It seems for every game he’s hot there’s three where he doesn’t shoot worth a shite. The Thompsons & McLauglin shot a combined 3-21 from the field, so there’s the game there, along with not much on the defensive end. *sigh*. I know its early, but holy crap this is a home game against Wyoming. Long season ahead?

          • I bet they win their league and end up in the tournament…. closing line of +7.5 was a lot tonight in hindsight… They have a nice lineup that can really stretch the floor

          • They won’t win their league. The coach who I really wanted will win their league. I can maybe see that front court compete with Fresno and CSU for fourth or maybe push for third and a tourney bid. It’s too early to tell.

  11. STJ and Eubanks have shown no improvement whatsoever since they got on campus. Haven’t even put on weight/muscle and that’s supposed to happen naturally lol

    • Eubanks has noticeably gained size… Stevie has a poor frame and isn’t that explosive of an athlete. You can judge this by waist to shoulder ratio… Hollins is much more explosive for example

Its just crazy that they cant get these guys squatting, deadlifting, and pressing… Stevie needs to gain 20 pounds easy. He’s in the best possible situation to gain size and strength and nothing gets done. Who is the S&C Coach?!?!?

  12. This is year 4 of the Tinkle era. Is it wrong to expect these guys to be a tournament team or close to it by year 4? I’m with a few others here. This shit better start improving and quick or they’re going to lose me too.

Exactly what kind of offense are we running? Because honestly all I see is a bunch of rat ball

  13. Not impressed with the post game interview. Seemed to me like some unjustified whining and excuses.

Maybe I’m out of touch with how things are done but I’m a bit taken back when Tinkle says “we asked the kids to……” instead of we told the kids to. Or you will or your ass is going to be on the bench a lot.

    BWDIK

  14. Never really thought of WT as being a perrinneal tourney Pac12 coach. Love the guy, but I’m not sure about the long term trajectory. Bobby D def hung his hat on this “right fit” and “OSU Guy” on WT.
I also was surprised that we actually made the tourney that year. Seemed like more of a favor or nod to Gary Payton Sr & the “havent made the tourney in 25 years father son” storyline than it was the OSU b-ball team.
OSU passed on Ben Howland and chose WT. BH was a total dick, but, he was a runner up, and a final four guy a couple times.

    • Howland’s demeanor aside, he would have come with an immediate one, maybe two year post season ban. Then, after coming off that, we would get to be dealing with the FBI and them asking about MBA Hoops and Ohmar Carter.

Just stfu about Howland already. I’m fine if you want to come up with a valid alternative, but Howland made his own bed, and he would have put us in the same shitter MSU is in… and everybody knew it and passed on him because of it… and that was without the FBI being involved.

  15. It’s one game and I think Wyoming is pretty good. I watched their CBI championship game last year and remember thinking why can’t Tinkle get a JC transfer like Dalton instead of fucking Ronnie Stacy? Still some of the same shit from the Beavs, but with better players than last year. No defense of the three , no reliable spot up three point shooter and crappy foul shooting.

  16. It was almost like the beavs forgot or weeent coached to defend the three point perimeter, but fell back into ‘finding your spot’ on defense; as if they were defending a traditional post up team. They tried man mostly in the first half, but weren’t very successful, so they went 2-3 zone. They should have gone 1-2-2 box zone or even 3-2 zone to cover the perimeter more. They need to figure out what defense works sooner in the game rather than stick with the mantra ‘this is the defense we play’. And those that asked ‘what offense were we running? It appeared the ‘fast breaks’ were always defended by Wyoming; as well as rebounding. Beavs assumed every shot was going in and never followed their shots nor were in position for the rebound.

  17. Wow, we got killed by Wyoming? I tuned in briefly and saw we were up mid 2nd half and looking like we were dominating. Then saw the final. I guess we shit the bed and gave up because we were winning? Sounds a lot like our football team when they get the lead. Guess this is what bad teams do.

  18. It was apparent in the first game against a smaller front court. Tinks does not run the team in practice. Their legs get tired in the second half, and already weak legs only get weaker. No feet on D and a bunch of reaching in the second half is a direct result of conditioning.

You can tell this team does not run. You can tell they don’t do board tips or Mikan drills in even HIIT intervals. You can tell they don’t run the open court in any organized drills until their legs fall off.

And you could see in the first five minutes that only Tres was boarding last night. Give Wyoming credit for putting bodies on bodies well away from the hoop.

    • I didnt see game. But lookin at stats. We got beat on 3 point shooting. They were 9 for 20. We were 4 for 20.

Additionally, they were 51% field goal percentage. We were 41%.

      Thompson Bros hardly scored……

      • Everything is tied to conditioning. Weak legs miss shots too.

Conditioning is the great equalizer in hoops. The disparity in the second half of our first game allowed SU to keep pace with us while running a press and losing players to foul trouble.

It’s not an equalizer if your better talent can keep up with or outpace said conditioning. And the only way to do that is to put in the work to be that good.

  19. With several official visitors being asked to move their visits back to the first week I am guessing the new coach is known and he wants to be able to meet with them.

This would eliminate any coach playing in a conference championship (Frost) and to me makes the case that its a coordinator getting the job (Baldwin most likely).

    Thoughts?

      • Go fuck yourself. Baldwin isn’t even my top choice so again go fuck yourself.

And NOWHERE did I say that they wouldn’t want a guy whose team is in the conference title game but if the new coach is gonna be here for those visits than guess what? they aren’t hiring anyone PLAYING IN A CONFERENCE TITLE GAME.

        • I never said that either. You wrote

This would eliminate any coach playing in a conference championship (Frost) and to me makes the case that its a coordinator getting the job (Baldwin most likely)

          I wrote

Or a coach that currently isn’t employed?

Which is another possibility on the parameter you suggested. Your pea brain took it elsewhere.

Spare us the Baldwin isn’t your first choice diatribe. Anyone that peruses this board has seen your hard on for Baldwin posts for years.

          • So you didn’t write
“take Baez’s cock out of your mouth”?

That was why I said fuck you because that is a total asshole comment.

You are right, it could be a coach without a job. I don’t buy those rumors though so TO ME it signals a coordinator getting the job. Either way, telling someone to take someone’s cock out to their mouth deserves the response I gave so again go fuck yourself.

    • I talked to someone this morning who said they were just being told to move their dates out because they both have playoff games this weekend. I haven’t checked to see if both players are truly in playoff games, but it sounds like the reschedule is just for that reason and not an imminent coaching hire.

  20. Posted this in the last thread in response to WSN’s response to me about being at the Long Beach St. basketball game on Saturday…

“We will be there, too. Also going to the ASU football game at noon, Then coming back Sunday to watch the ladies play Notre Dame.

It will be a long weekend…”

  21. Dude, your retweet is fucking scary. Banker better not be our next head coach!

I’ll be hand jiving my way right out of college football fandom.

    • A little bit of addition here: 1) JoeBeav show mentions seeing Banker in town, 2)The (scary) tweet above, and 3)The often mediocre way things are handled by the current (and previous) AD.

I don’t like where this could be headed!

    • My lady: “I’m going to be sick. That’s disgusting. He was FIRED by Riley, and he’s going to be the head coach?”

      Haha.

Then, “That’s actually worse than getting Riley back, because not even Riley wanted him.”

      Haha. She’s on a roll.

Holy shit. AB would explode. Good for business. Bad for OSU. I don’t think I’d follow anything OSU football if we hired Banker. That can’t be true.

  22. So OSU of us.

Admin: “I think we had the right mix of coaches, just in the wrong positions. Banker should have been the head coach and Riley the OC!!!”

You see one of the first comments was by one of the TPB’s “Back to OSU with Riley?” FML

  23. Maybe Banker bluff is a genius move by Barnes to make us love McElwein or some other shit candidate?
I’d take anyone mentioned thus far over Banker.

  24. I’m cool with Banker coming back as a dedicated Linebacker coach who recruits Hawaii and the rest of Polynesia. Anything more then that then a hard no.

Say what you will about him, but we had a shit ton of solid LB’s during his watch and recruited some really good poly’s.

If I’m being honest, I did always like listening to Bankers interviews. One of the only truely honest coaches I’ve ever heard. And I really respected the fact that he called out USC and Sark for being dirty. You rarely ever hear coaches do that.

      • I know you guys all hated Banker at the end. His defense became antiquated against the spread and the hand Jive was a joke. But I never felt he ever coasted or quit on his team. Riley did that shit.

And up until Riley bailed us out with that Nebraska deal, Banker was putting linebackers on All PAC 12 teams every other year or so, as well as The NFL. He also coached statistically the top 2 or 3 defenses we’ve ever had.

I wouldn’t let him sniff at a coordinator spot because the spread is college football, but linebackers and pro style are his wheel house. And he did get out and recruit the islands hard. Valikelimo and Hungalu who are 2 of our only solid upper class men are his I believe as well.

          • I agree. But since we have no clue which way this is going and it’s pure speculation killing time, I’m just trying to step back and be objective about him.

If he were to get the head coach spot (which I find unfathomable) I would consider our football program a joke.

      • Yeah… I’m trying to remember the backers that weren’t i Riley’s initial class after his hat in hand routine. I liked Bubba. We lucked into DJ because of grades. I was not a fan of Kristick. We had soe completely botched evaluations in Gabe and Boom when they started their careers on the O.

And the coaching up of lesser talents at backer got worse after Newhouse was canned (instead of the dedicated ST coach).

    • We’re talking about Banker tweeting that he’s enjoyed having a year off with his family, but is happy and excited to be going back to work coaching soon.

Has nothing to do with any Oregon Banker sightings. Think he still has a house here.

      • Humor tends to pass you by old man, probably like chicks did. Enjoy doodling yourself listening to the oldies station. Springfield cc =’s fill in the blank?

        • Humor would be based on reality. Without a shred of truth, humor fails to be even close to humor.

You’re going to need to explain your joke. Nothing that Springfield CC would translate to makes a shred of sense with Banker. The only thing that makes any sense whatsoever is Springfield College, where he played.

          • Now that I look at the google, I don’t see him visiting his alma mater last year. I see Nikegon and OSU and rumors of this place and that where he was known to take extended recruiting visits.

So Springfield CC means nothing as far as visiting any of them.

What the hell are you even talking about?

          • Careful.

You’re going to upset the Christians.

Why don’t you explain what Springfield CC means? It’s not something obvious. So it must mean something to you that you think is funny.

  25. I’ve been consuming more #TPB media than is healthy, and I’m 99% sure Shawn Eichorst made Riley fire Banker explicitly. Eichorst makes Bobby D look like a management savant

    • Well duh. Simple Jack would have never fired one of his crew without the AD standing there giving him the evil eye while he made the phone call.

  26. I seriously doubt Banker will ever coach again in a Power 5 capacity as even a DC in what’s left of his career. He couldn’t land the Hawaii HC job when he had the best window of opportunity. He’s had a year to accept reality and he’s off to some small college. Good luck and good riddance. Don’t let a second string running QB hit you in the ass on your way out of Corvallis.

  27. Banker’s daughter (and grandkid) live in Corvallis so I think we can put that rumor to rest.

A name I haven’t heard yet but am intrigued by: Greg Schiano

    + Defensive minded
    + Turned around Rutgers
    + DC at Ohio State
+ Rumored finalist at UO before Taggart was hired
    + Relatively young (51)

No west coast ties, though, so maybe he would be open to retaining Hall as DC to keep some familiarilty on staff?

    • He was the first guy I mentioned, and he was shot down… because Beauner.

I like the idea of getting a builder in here. And he has reportedly turned his coaching style into one of caring concern rather than the martinet he was rumored to be at Rutgers.

        • I don’t think that matters anymore. High school coaches are high school coaches no matter where they are. It would take maybe ten seconds for someone with a recruiting mindset to break hat ice and form a relationship. It would take an actual couple of years for a real trust to be earned. So there’s that. But He has reportedly made the rounds on a national level visiting HS, Juco, and D1 programs on all coasts to figure out what made him a failure in the NFL but not at Rutgers.

That that’s not a sincere persona is a worry to me. There’s stuff like this out there.
          https://deadspin.com/greg-schiano-really-is-as-big-an-asshole-as-you-imagine-1440305088

          • Good – that means he would have had success here to be considered a candidate elsewhere.

Our OSU is unlikely to ever be a “destination job” so I’m okay with having someone leaving the program, assuming it’s in better shape than when the took over.

          • Yeah… I can see that upside.

But if we were to go with him, and we was truly a changed man, I would want him to sell the program to the boosters like he did at Rutgers. An that would mean I want him invested in a long run. Every school is a destination for someone. Those coaches are few and far between. So attrition in college coaching is a norm for those schools you don’t consider destinations.

The NFL will call. Other schools will call. Those things are always going to happen. Finding a successful coach who will make OSU a destination requires looking at coaches who have experience enough to know the difference between a destination and “the big time.”

If you want a “destination” coach, Bill Snyder should be your model. Better yet, the guy whose coaching tree he’s from, Fry would be a good model.

      • It’s all about the money.

Quality of life is something a head coach has when he retires… and probably leaves to his widow because he dies of something soon after hanging up the whistle.

I’m not sure that kind of wisdom can rise within the hyper-competitive world of college coaching. I wanted to believe it with GA and his coachspeak. But I’ll be a cynic when I hear the new coach say those things. About the only people I would believe are Cory Hall and Dennis Erickson.

        • Sometimes about the coin. The probability of success also plays a part in the decision.
If the job looks like a career killer, you get they guys that think this may be their only shot at the big time.

  28. Off subject but has there ever been any word on Seth Collins? All I had heard was illness but that was weeks ago…. or did I miss something on him?

  29. Weather forecast is turning favorably for ASU. Now it’ll be sunny and no rain. It’ll still be a 30 degree drop for ASU but won’t be freezing cold, rainy or windy.

Should bump the line up 3 points.

  30. OT – Won’t link here, but Canzano surprised and disappointed in ticket sales and apparently lack of interest in “PK80” tournament, which he says Uncle Phil deserves given Knight’s generosity and status as “most influential sport icon of this time.” He expresses disappointment in inadequate marketing from ESPN, so he shamelessly plugs the tournament himself.

Given the shoe company/NCAA basketball scandal (where is that now?), I’m glad that PK80 is receiving as little attention as it is. Its probably due more to the holiday weekend/black Friday more than anything else. But I hope Phil looks around and sees plenty of empty seats….

    • I’m going to one of the Duke games because my wife is an alum, otherwise I wouldn’t waste my holiday weekend watching non conference basketball.
It’s already a big football weekend(Rivalry weekend) and Thanksgiving/Black Friday occupy many people’s time. Not yo mention It’s the worst/most expensive weekend for travel. Who wants to fly away from home to spend thanksgiving in rainy/dark/cold Portland?
We don’t even sell out NCAA tournament weekends here in the spring time.

    • I’m surprised that Canzano isn’t advocating for Brenda Tracy to get involved. He seems to pull her name out of a hat every time he’s unhappy with how a sports scenario is playing out!

  31. Some of the coaching changes and their associated rumors:

Miles gives a good answer about Nebby.
    https://www.landof10.com/nebraska/nebraska-les-miles-mike-riley-cornhuskers-job

Reports have aTm gauging Jimbo Fischer’s interest in their job. Sumlin will be available soon.

Arky fired their AD… presumably because they don’t want hi to hire the next HC.

Rumors that Nebby is asking permission to talk to Frost sound wrong when compared to the Miles link. I don’t think they undercut Riley like that. Then again, Moos may be that kind of guy. But I wouldn’t think they’re like aTm in that regard.

Chip Kelly in talks with Florida? Maybe interested in Tennessee? Gruden hasn’t been called by anyone, including Tennessee, but made it a point not to rule anything out.

Then there was the Rob Ryan interview a couple weeks ago where he said he and his brother might be willing to work together somewhere. I just think that one’s too fun not to mention.

And then there’s the Mora rumor that he just wants out.

This is starting to get fun.

    • I wonder if there will be some good intel on the Oregon St. job this time. GA surprised everyone here, his name was never mentioned before the announcement was made.

    • What do you think of Sumlin? I think he still has potential, but not sure if he’s wedded to a particular offense or not. I’d like to see OSU be run heavy, have TE packages, etc. and maybe Sumlin’s more of a throw-it-a-lot guy. Maybe Sumlin paired with Hall as the energetic D coordinator could be an effective combination for OSU.

I expect Sumlin would provide recruiting benefits in Texas and neighboring states. If Lockette is retained with is FLA connections, seems like OSU could have a good base in CA/Texas/FLA….

Also, enjoyed your bit below – “Unlike Nikegon, aTm sends thank you notes un-marked and non-sequential.” Ha!

      • He’s a pass-happy O type of guy. The QBs he’s helped along the way are guys like Drew Brees, Sam Bradford, Case Keenum and the un-helpable Johnny Football. He was a Joe Tiller acolyte.

But he has connections to OSU. Noel Mazzone is his current OC. Jason Phillips was a former OC.

I would probably hate his O. And the lousy D that always accompanies that type of O would drive me nuts. But we would outscore a lot of teams. And if you want that type of O, you might as well get someone who has proven time and again he can implement it at the highest level.

  32. Any chance that Barnes has been talking to Bob Stoops to bring him out of retirement?

I expect the announcement for the new coach to break sometime during the Saturday of the Civil War. Barnes has to have his guy already signed and ready to go for recruiting, early signing, making an early splash and staying ahead of the madness of multuple firings/coaching musical chairs as the season ends.

I hope for Les Miles, Bob Stoops caliber on the rebound and ready to win at OSU. I expect a cheap option with OSU/NW ties and no frills, no risk/no reward hire like J Smith or Beau Baldwin.

A surprise hire that isn’t high profile might be better than above like Justin Wilcox, Greg Schianno, Craig Bohl.

Kevin Sumlin as OC for few years would be fun.

    • Marie showing leadership in her response to a poor pass earlier; the Polish gal hasn’t learned to show appreciation for good passes she has received.
Will be interesting to see if the hot hands from three point range can stay that way vs ND this Sunday.

    • Wow, for sure. And I take back what I said above about the Polish gal, she showed solid team spirit near the end of the game.
Notre Dame is ranked #5; should be a real test for this youngish team Sunday at 11am.

  33. Who is the Polish girl?

Pivec is going to be good. She’s the obvious replacement for Wiese. If Pivec plays at a high level they can keep the train rolling without a rebuild year.

  34. Henson Bernard on the dam podcast tonight.
Talking about how he battled knee injuries during his senior year and how he helped influence his brother and Whizz to both go to the NFL a year early, because he didn’t want either to go through what he went through. Also really makes it sound like Nall is done after this year.
I haven’t gotten much into the rest of the show yet, but Bernard is a pretty good listen.

    https://twitter.com/BrandonSprague/status/930964548512751616

  35. Joe Rudolph. Great OL coach. Smash mouth football. Run the fricking ball. Six degrees of separation with Riley for that crowd. Played for Alvarez and has played in and coached in a system that has stood the test of time, much to my dismay. If we go the coordinator route, why not him? Could also bring back a Beav great as Asst. HC or DC in I Breckerfield.
The guy is smart, has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon, and has also coached at tOSU under Tressel and at Nebraska. He has been a S&C coach and a high level TE coach with several high draft picks that are in the league.

  36. Offered without opinion or bias, a dark horse candidate that has been mentioned by a couple different sources:

    Bronco Mendenhall

  37. FOOTBALL SCHEDULE for 2018 has been released. tOSU game still on (surprise…not). Bye week falls at the season mid-point.
Rough three game stretch right before the finale vs nike; vs SC, at Stanford, at UW

  38. Did anybody else listen to the dam podcast? Bernard in the first half hour was worth tuning in for, but the rest is forgettable.
Bernard mentions a Facebook group he out together of former players. Does anybody know if the average Joe can get access to facebook groups just to be a fly on the wall? And does anybody know the link?

Also, he mentions Keith Heyward still very much would like to work for the Beavs someday in some capacity. Might be a support staff member to keep an eye on. Yvenson was great to listen to, in my opinion.

    • To me it’s between SJ, Simonton, Quizz, and Nall.

      Bernard was a good back.

IMO Nall is the best, but his career hasn’t played out well. Highest yards per carry by far, breakaway speed, can catch, etc. If he comes back for a senior year he’ll be the best ever. Nall’s YPC is insane. Even destroys SJ and Simonton. If Nall doesn’t come back then he drops on the list to 4th. Bernard is 5th imo.

      • I always felt like Quizz was solid, but never lived up to the lofty expectations. Part of that was definitely O-line play.

I remember watching SJ and being amazed by how physically dominant he was. Loved watching him stiff arm defenders. I’d put Nall in the same category.

        YPC
        Nall- 5.9
        SJ- 4.9
        Quizz- 4.9
        Simonton- 4.8
        Bernard- 4.4

        • Quizz just didn’t have breakaway speed. He just gave you a consistent 5 yards every time he ran. I’d be willing to bet that Quizz had the lowest percentage of 0 yard or negative yard running plays of all the RBs.

      • Bernard is easily better than Nall. He was a workhorse back. Don’t think he missed a game. Nall is constantly hurt to be considered as a great rb. He’ll go down as a could’ve been great.

Nall will be back. Won’t transfer. He’s in the undrafted category right now. Needs to show he can stay healthy for a whole year.

My order goes, simonton, Jackson, quizz, Bernard.

        • Well on the podcast Bernard states he told Nall to go to the NFL. During every game, the telecasters mention NFL teams want Nall as a FB.

I personally discount longevity. Sandy Koufax had 6 great years, but he’s probably the best pitcher in MLB history. Compare that to an “accumulator” type pitcher who wins 14 games per year for 24 years, like Phil Neiko. Who is truly better? I’m not a fan at all of accumulators. Prefer greatness over just being there, average, and accumulating numbers via volume.

          • Bernard was not an accumulator in this case. 3 seasons over 1000 isn’t just because he’s getting 30 carries a game.

Every rb should leave early if they can. Rbs have only so much mileage in them so it makes sense to leave early.

FB would be harder since few teams carry one. Fewer fullbacks in the NFL than kickers.

          • Bernard is not the expert on rather he will be drafted. If he is gonna go undrafted (likely) I think he’d be foolish to go. Get a free year of grad school before you try to make it as an undrafted player. Odds are he will be on a practice squad at best and assuming he sticks on one for all 17 weeks (unlikely as most PS players bounce on and off rosters) he’d make 122K. Not bad money but you can only do that for 2 years.

Unless he is gonna be guaranteed to make a team (go in rounds 1-3) he’d be smart to stay and get a year of grad school done. His long term earning potential is higher with a year of grad school than it would be as an undrafted free agent.

    • Good stuff by Bernard. He wants ex Beavers on staff. He makes a good argument for it from a player’s perspective. Made me more open to J. Smith.

      • Its a similar argument to the one I made for Smith.

If that were the route I’d want Hayward and his recruiting ability along with him and if it takes the DC job to let him have it I would. Also if Smith were smart he’d offer Mike Johnson the OC job and try to get his kid on campus.

Not buying the Hall to Portland State thing they mention late, OSU can offer him more than PSU as an assistant and being a HC in FCS doesn’t really get him closer to an FBS job. I think AHC/Co-DC/DBs with a nice bump in pay would keep him at OSU.

          • The Hall discussion was after Bernard.

Bernard’s argument about coaches from OSU is that recruits are likely to view OSU as a great place if all these guys that played there want to be there as coaches too and they’d know how to sell Corvallis to kids. I buy it personally.

      • I have huge amounts of respect for Bernard and hope he stays on our staff for a very long time. He is a great ambassador to the school and is a wonderful human being to boot. I love his vision on getting ex-players back here in some capacity.

  39. I don’t get all of this talk about Kevin Sumlin? I guess it’s for shits and giggles. Otherwise, it’s completely delusional to think he’s going to get shit canned by A&M and coming running to Corvallis, especially the talk about him accepting an OC job.

Isn’t it reasonable to think, It’s either going to be a “past his peak” candidate with decent past success/name recognition or a up and coming coordinator? There are a shit ton of good HC jobs out there or will be soon. The Beavs wait in line as usual.

    • That’s why it will be Baldwin or J Smith. Those guys aren’t really in high demand. The podcast made a good point about J Smith…good X/O guy with zero personality, but with the right staff and all the training under good coaches, OSU ties/love, etc, could be a good hire. I’d rather either of those two over some of the awful names I’ve heard.

I have a feeling it will be Smith the more I think about it.

He has the edge over Baldwin because he’s trained under Peterson and has OSU ties. I really do think understanding the PNW helps, and especially understanding OSU. Smith would have a desire to build up the alma mater. What motivation does Les Miles have to do that? None. Zero ties or pride. Baldwin understands the PNW as well and would be a good fit.

Short of that, I think we go a safer route and hire a retread like Tedford who understands the situation pretty well. That wouldn’t be awful but there’s a cap on Tedford. He’s stabilize things but you’re not winning big with him. Some of these names like the Sanford Jr guy, Ok State guy, etc are interesting, but I don’t think they’d “get it”…GA fit in that camp. He’s much like those guys and never quite fit in or got it, never really seemed to love his situation even though he’d say he did. He was a Utah guy. Hearing the search firm is focusing on west coast guys, and that’s a good thing. At least they’re getting that right.

On that latest podcast they mention June Jones. Portland ties, etc. No thanks. Tedford is the only retread who is realistic and would be a fit. Miles is not realistic and a bad fit.

      • As I’ve said before, I think for several reasons Smith has been on a good development path. I guess my question is more about his demeanor and personality. He’s usually described as an introvert, which can be offset. But if he is an introvert, all of the HC demands might be too much for him and he might be most effective as a coordinator.

Also like Jack’s point about waiting to see how Smith does at UW with the QB transition and subsequent offensive performance to better gauge his abilities.

        • Can’t be true. His current salary is $3.4M. No way we’d pay that unless he really wants out of UVA and is willing to take a pay cut.

After looking at him closer, he does have a solid 65% career winning percentage, and he’s defied the odds in the ACC this year. UVA was the consensus last place team in the conference and they’re headed for a bowl game.

          • He also had negative things to say about his time in Corvallis and at OSU in the last go around.

I guess cash is the equalizer but it doesn’t sound right to me either.

Very meh… better be keeping Hall on staff if that’s the case.

          • Correct, he bashed his playing time at OSU and basically called it a ghetto program.
I take issue with that. I guess Barnes doesn’t know or care. The rumor is gaining legs so there is probably something to this.

    • Considering his salary (3.4 million) and buyout (3 million) I don’t buy that rumor at all. OSU isn’t going to pony up 3 million to get him nor would they pay him equal to his Virginia salary.

  40. The way I see it, there are three main components to the HC position: recruiting, organization building, and vision setting.

The only one of those I can think of that’s related to geography is recruiting, because you have to love what you’re selling and have connections within the region.

On the other hand, good salesmen can sell anything if they fully grasp its benefits. I don’t think being a west coast guy is critical. It’s maybe 10% of what is needed, but it’s one of the few things we as fans have visibility of, so it gets overstated.

Don James had no west coast ties before coming to UW. Chip had no west coast ties before coming to UO. Leach’s west coast ties were about as strong as GA’s.

I think that perception is part of the folk wisdom of college football because that’s how coaches are usually hired. There’s nothing to say an out of towner couldn’t be successful just because they aren’t from the area.

    • I think it was more important before the internet and the technological improvement on ease of video sharing.

Now that every kid has cell phone and a mix tape, it’s infinitely easier to scout and communicate.

You done “need” those personal connection to high school coaches to find out who’s d1 material.

      • There’s also nothing that says those east coast schools don’t go after West Coast talent. There are West Coast kids on a lot of teams out east, and that doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

  41. Based on Yvenson Bernard’s ideas about former players turned coaches being part of the next staff so I figured that I’d throw together a ridiculous coaching staff for everyone’s entertainment (or worst nightmares). Nothing about this should be taken seriously, so please…everyone calm down. I name this coaching staff “The Halls of Justice”

    HC: Bronco Mendenhall
AHC/ Recruiting/ Special Teams: Cory Hall
DC / Secondary: Keith Heyward OC / QBS: Jonathon Smith
Ass. DC / LBs: Trent Bray Ass. OC/ O-Line: Kyle DeVan
Safeties: Al Afalava Running Backs: Steven Jackson
Cornerbacks: Dennis Weathersby Tight Ends: Gabe Miller
Defensive Line: Dwan Edwards Wide Receivers: Mike Hass
-Grad Assistant: Stephen Paea Inside Passing Game: James Rodgers

  42. Did anybody else catch Angie confessing that she helped OSU get one of the players from America Samoa hooked up with a cell phone so he could make international calls back home?

Not that I really care, as it was a kind gesture, but I would think that she just outed the school and player for providing/receiving improper benefits from boosters.
I’ve heard of guys getting busted in the past for getting a ride in a coaches car after practice. This seems pretty on par with that.

    • I thought she said she reached out to Ryan Gunderson to have him help the kid call his mom.

Did I hear Yvenson Bernard say his brother got paid to go to UNC? I played it back twice but couldn’t tell if he said his brother was paid or just the other 13 guys were paid.

      • What I remember her saying was something about several boosters asking her if they can add the kid to their cell phone family plan so he could call home. Then she contacted Gundy who somehow took care of getting the player hooked up with a cell phone. Small potatoes, but on par with getting free tattoos or a ride in a coach’s car

  43. Funny in 2014 Bronco was my #1 pick for the job:
    http://angrybeavs.com/football/10743

Weird reading that now. I’m not as high on him this cycle, but he’d be an okay/safe hire. Main reason I don’t like him is I don’t think he’s worth the buyout…but also think he has a cap on his wins (don’t see a Rose Bowl under him).

I do like his Ds, and he’s always had good QBs. I’d rank him a B+ hire. Safe. He’ll get us respectable. Probably one notch above Riley. But I’m not sure that’s enough to make a Rose Bowl, and I think that’s what every Beav fan wants.

    • Reading through that thread is pretty funny, with 20/20 hindsight.

The ending is so hopefully sounding. If we only knew….

Still wish we had gone after Frost last time around. We’d be sitting here worried about Nebraska poaching a 2nd consecutive coach from us(and getting paid in the process)

    • I’d still take Stitt as OC. His offense is dominant at Montana, but the team is underperforming expectations. The guy was born to be an OC.

    • Let’s hire Matt Wells.

Frost looks like the one guy who came out of that whole gaggle of names that looks good right now. Derek Trucks is a pretty good guitar player. Mendenhall would be an immensely poor fit at OSU. Kiffin still sucks… by the looks of his puffy face, probably beer through a straw. Brasfield has moved into an associate AD position at Nebby. That looks like his future. We could be talking about him as a potential AD one day. Stitt having problems with his teams under-performing might have to do with coaching.

This looks like a thread that followed up a Brady Hoke thread.

If you title another post “Bronco Mendenhall,” will we have a new head coach within six hours?

    • Might just be Mendenhall’s agent trying to get his client a raise and/or extension. The threat of you leaving is often the quickest way to get an employer to take care of you.

      • “a raise and/or extension”….snicker snicker….not a bucking Bronco anymore?

        Juvenile humor over.

        Back to your original thread….

  44. Is anyone besides me having trouble with the new incarnation of Firefox? A lot of the add-ons, such as “Go To Parent Folder”, no longer work with the latest version. This is a major problem for me as I use it many, many times on a daily basis.

Additionally, it’s looking like the latest changes have had a negative impact on being able to watch the streams out of Poland, or Russia or where the heck ever they’re at. This could be the deal killer for me.

Someone posted a comment on a Mozilla board about switching from Firefox over to Pale Moon. Comments re Pale Moon or some other browser?

    • I’ve been using Opera for over a year now and it’s been great. No problems with streams. Functional and lightweight compared to other browsers I’ve used that are CPU hogs.

      • Thanks. I’ll add it to my list. I’m out there thrashing about and trying to come up with a list of options. As I find one that looks promising I’m doing some cursory checks to see if I can determine if it gets added to the “look at in more depth” list.

Right now I’m looking at Epic Privacy Browser which is based on Chrome but without the tracking that Google does. Don’t know how much of a cpu/ram hog it is, I guess that kind of question would/should be addressed if it makes it to the “dig deeper” list.

It’s getting late so I’ll be looking at Opera tomorrow.

  45. Jinx?

Eggers on ASU @ OSU: “Arizona State’s history in November in Corvallis is not good. The Sun Devils have lost in their last four trips there during the cold-weather month. The last time they tasted victory there was in 1996, when Jerry Pettibone was running the wishbone at OSU.” This should elicit a PBH response.

    He picks ASU, 37-27…..

But he also tabs Manese Hungalu as OSU’s “best player,” not even being specific to D, and implies his potential absence is a major loss/game changer.

I think there are other LBs that can fill in there, especially if the D line could play well for a full game. “Best player” seems like quite the over reach.

    • It’s only an overreach because Brandel is our best player. I would rate Ugwoegbu as better than Hungalu if not for consistency issues. Hungalu gets the second best because of that. After Bright, I would say Willis, Lavaka, Nall and Morris.

I would put Togiai at the top if he could catch anything that hits his hands.

      • Now if you want to talk about players who will have better careers at OSU than Hungalu did, there’s a shit ton of talent in the Soph, Frosh and redshirt categories who are raw and inconsistent right now. But there will be some serious players coming up. There’s just not much to pick from the juniors and especially the seniors.

  46. Jerry Sandusky is announced new head coach for the Oregon State Beavers today. He will be receiving a contract guaranteeing 2.5 million a year, with 10 million going towards his buyout from the medium-security prison in western Pennsylvania.

  47. Has this been posted yet (sorry, haven’t read much of the thread)?

    https://www.diehards.com/oregon/espns-gene-wojciechowski-oregon-coach-willie-taggart-already-wanting-get?utm_campaign=SF_OregonDieHards&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Social

Taggart being all about Taggart. Shocker that slick Willie wants out already or a ploy to get a raise. Knew this guy was a bad coach and a fraud.

With regards to the Beavs, this is the problem with hiring a guy who doesn’t have PNW ties. It takes a certain type to live there and thrive. It’s a main reason I like J. Smith and Baldwin.

  48. Biggest argument against Jonathan Smith:
Husky fans would be happy to see him go. You know who else fanbases were happy to see go? Riley and Andersen. How’d they do at their next gigs? I don’t want to be a poor bastard again.

    • I used to subscribe to that argument, then Mark Banker was floated. Haha.

Seriously, J Smith is boring and Husky fans hate him, but plenty of coaches have had that happen and then went on to success.

I do think PNW ties are important. The guys who don’t have them never seem like natural fits and always seem to flee fast. They don’t like it. Even DE, while successful, fled quickly. I want a guy who is into the culture and the fit, but who is not Mark Banker, Mike Riley, et al good squad.

      • Seriously, J Smith is boring and Husky fans hate him, but plenty of coaches have had that happen and then went on to success.

I got Bill Bellichick in Cleveland and Pete Carroll when he got hired at USC. I can’t think of any coaches who were disliked at one place then went on to success without having a talent advantage at their new place. I can think of a Pantheon full of coaches who did very little after being mediocre, untested or just plain disliked.

  49. Eggers has the Beavs losing by 10 tomorrow, OTOH, Wilner says,
“Final home game in a forgettable season will bring out the best in the Beavers, and that’s good enough to beat an opponent that rarely plays well enough to win on the road.”

  50. OT: WVB beat UW in 5 sets for their 20th win of the season. They’ll finish no worse than .500 in conference play and should have a top 30 rpi. They’re tournament bound and with the right draw, may do a little damage.

  51. While the Pussy Grabber in Chief decided to go attack someone who doesn’t have several women suing him for sexual assault (even though it sounds like it’s possible), Roy Moore’s gaslighting had a woman in the background whose body language said he was guilty as evil.

Old Pussy Grabbing Dumbshit Bone Spur is moving up in the eyes of the world.

    He’s a winner.

    • Allegation mean conviction to the left am I right?
Sexual assault allegations are the (not so) new tactic of the left to discredit politicians am I right?

      • I guess you haven’t read PGOTUS’ lizard brain tweets over the last couple days.

He’s a puss bucket of a human. He’s disgusting. He has zero self-respect.

I could not care less about the allegations that he did exactly what he himself said he did. You think he’s a lefty? He’s not. He’s a scum-sucking money-laundering chiseler of a sub-human. And anyone who believes he has a shred of decency in that fat suit he calls a body is a God-damned sucker.

      • Oh… and you have to weigh the allegations themselves. 3-7% of all allegations are false. Old pussy grabbing bone spur has 16 women alleging his assault. And that’s assault, not harrassment. Roy Moore, extreme moron that he is, has nine women alleging more serious crimes. There are likely more. His alleged crimes are so bad that even Steve Bannon can’t be seen with him any more. It takesa lot for Bannon to give up on the swamp creatures he supports. He does support dick heads who end up in court more often than not. But it takes a lot for him to suggest to the world they may be responsible for their own actions.

It’s too bad they didn’t have Danny Moran run a routine background check on their pedo candidate down there in Bama. They might have discovered that he got kicked out of two jobs for taking very un-Jesus positions on things that he thought were Christian.

        • So according to the numbers, one of those 25 women could be telling an untruth.

Which one do you suggest it might be? I await your allegation.

  52. Old Pussy Grabbing Dumbshit Bone Spur… of the United States of America.

    Salute that, mother-fucker.

    You salute that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You salute that. You sanction that. You’re the same puss-bucket that he is.

  53. Oh… crap.

I was meaning to link all the anecdotes about how BYU football players were the most depraved sub-humans in college sports… according to actions and words.

I guess I missed that mark.

    • Let’s not pretend BYU teams aren’t the most disgusting, hateful people on any given field/court out there. If you’ve been around college sports for more than one sport and a couple seasons, you know this truth.

  54. It’s too bad my music is shitty. I could end a bad thread by posting it instead.

But you all want dumbshit Don talk. You must want that, or he wouldn’t be in my face every day saying stupid shit and doing absolutely nothing.

          • I mean… I accept that I’m an ass. I’m human.

You just committed to writing the online wish that someone takes a shotgun, puts it in his mouth and pulls the trigger. I’m hoping it was a joke, which is reprehensible in itself. If that’s what you really believe, then that’s about the lowest thing a human can do online.

So thank you for making me feel better about myself by giving me the indirect support of your being the emotionally and ethically damaged person in this conversation.

  55. Someone who knows me and reads this blog asked me the other day why I was so angry on here. I explained that there was no way I wouldn’t budge an inch on that racist piece of shit apology of a man who chiseled his way to become Pussy Grabber in Chief.

He said, “No. The politics are what they are. But you seem so angry when someone just offers up a name like Beau Baldwin. It’s so… not you.”

    “Oh,” I said.

Then I explained how putting a list together where Niner, Beauner, June, Bronco, Jedford and Grinch are considered viable options for the head coach at OSU angers meas a Beaver because they’re all low hanging fruit. They’re mediocre at best, a continued disaster most likely and Joe Avezzano at worst.

I’ve seen 26-0 turn into 26-2 because of officiating. I’ve seen 49-4 get derailed by a routine background check and, when that didn’t work, strike zone four feet wide.

    I get to be angry.

But walking into the deal up front, asking for continued suckitude?

    Why?

It’s precisely that attitude within our boosters and alums that leads to hires like every hoops coach since Ralph. It’s probably what led to the hire of Lynn Snyder.

    Man!

I so hate Lynn Snyder. And I don’t hate anything. But that guy was so antithetical to what school and sport teaches us and how they prepare us to be contributing adults. He was to OSU athletics as Donald Trump is to manhood.

It’s just not right that we settle every damn time for the crap we settle. But it’s because we set the bar so low that anyone can be validated with coaching suggestions that are just ludicrous. I saw a post the other day say Niner and Beauner were pluses because they weren’t in demand. That completely blew my mind. There’s a reason they’re not in demand… everywhere except at OSU.

So while I just want to give up on OSU for this constant shooting of itself in the foot, that’s not in my nature. So I get angry about it and go on this blog to affect change. I get upset that we can’t get to a Rose Bowl and have to listen to bullshit excuses like airports. I get angry when I’m reminded that Canzano suggested OSU hires Pat Fucking Hill in 2014.

But apparently this is all meaningless. I thought this was angrybeavs, not milquetoastbeavs.

Then he told me I could just be less mean.

      • You see them as low hanging fruit.

Personally if JS came to me with this plan:
        OC-Mike Johnson
        DC-Keith Heyward
        Co-DC/RC-Cory Hall

I think he’d have a staff that could get OSU to a Rose Bowl. Heyward is one of the best recruiters in the country, I believe Hall can be. Johnson has been an NFL OC, he along with Smith would likely run a pro style offense.
I think it’s a winning combo even if it’s low hanging fruit.

    • You’re right Jack, not having the person you voted for gives you the right to be an ass. And unless OSU pulls Belicheck from New England you should throw a year long tantrum and continue being an ass

      • Living in a banana republic thanks to fools that voted for a racist snake oil salesman does give Americans the right to be angry, any that aren’t are fools.

        • I would rather have a president that may not be well mannered than a traditional deep state puppet. In fact, the ill-manners triggers the left so much I don’t mind it (take Jack for example). You’re free to call others fools, but just know you’re an even bigger fool if you voted for Bernie or worse, Hillary.

          • Ill-mannered?

See, that’s an example of the poor excuses that people make for the orange turd. He’s not ill-mannered. Lenny Bruce was ill-mannered. Dumbshit Don is a buffoon in an ugly suit who shits all over anything that was ever decent in this nation. He’s lazy and crooked, mentally and professionally. And he’s a fucking liar more than anyone who has ever been a politician has ever been a fucking liar.

The fools are those who think he’s not just some weak deep state puppet, that he even has a clue as to what he’s doing. His dumb ass is just a distraction.

          • He’s not dumb. He’s a dumbshit.

He’s smart enough to know that if he barks racist things, he lands the racist demographic. His handlers are smart enough to script his “serious” talks with religiosity off its rocker, because they know there’s a segment who will not listen to the other words being said. And they know those people will make a walking excuse out of his pathetic, dumbed-down bell ringing.

And the use of the Deep State here is extremely poor in support of Trump. He’s smart enough to know talking and acting like a dumbshit will be a huge distraction so we don’t see what his handlers are doing, which is mostly causing scandal after scandal and getting fired. But the remainder, outside the DOD, do nothing effectual except for anything but their jobs. And even the DOD is rudderless because Dumbshit forgets that the rest of the world is looking at his antics and thinking this country is completely off its rocker.

So he ends up being weak, because he is perceived as such by the world. There’s no way around his weakness now. He can’t do anything without insulting most of America. But his strength is found in a steadfast bunch of fools. If you wanted anarchy, you got it.

This is what it looks like in America when the rich can buy a POTUS. Dumbshit

        • It’s just unbelievable how many excuses the abject failure that is POTUS has made for him on a daily basis. And it’s not like they’re good excuses, either. It’s just a daily beat-down of stupid, reprehensible shit talking, Elmer Gantry-ism and job laziness.

But it’s all good now that a black man isn’t POTUS.

          • Maybe that’s your problem. You focus too much on what he says on his *personal* twitter account. You should focus on what actions he takes at his job and what he says officially from the WH. Wasn’t the world supposed to end 100 days into his presidency?

And why bring up race with BO? None of the issues I had with him involve race and everything about his failures and sellouts as a president.

          • I barely see his twitter.

I focus on what he says and does (or more what his lazy ass doesn’t do) in his job.

He’s crooked. He’s weak. He’s a liar. He’s a cheat. He’s an eminence front who has yet to do anything in the job in which he’s been elected to do something, anything.

          • And for sure, BO was a corporate shill. That was known when he hired Summers and Geithner to be on his first campaign. But everything bad that he’s done as POTUS has been trumped by Dumbshit Don tenfold, and his lemmings all just eat it up and make a composite of sorry excuses out of the man child.

When they use racist dog-whistle language to trigger their fellow racists, methinks their extreme hypocrisy is borne of racism.

          • I kinda agree with you.

But I wish you didn’t use Bircher dog-whistles to create the narratives you create sometimes. They’re racist fallacies on the face of them. They’re bunk, period, end stop.

I wish you freedom for you and for everyone. Stop with the bullshit hate, already.

      • You’re right Jack, not having the person you voted for gives you the right to be an ass.

The last time I voted for a major party candidate was when I voted for Reagan. I was possibly most disgusted with myself for buying his hooey.

Dumbshit Don, the Pussy Grabber in Chief, the orange bone spur of a coward, teh sorry excuse of a human, isn’t my choice for anything except maybe a decent golf handicap. He’s worthy of all the respect he gives his job.

        • The “deep state” isn’t so much a secret organization as it is in the open, talking about how stupid the American people are and how much they’re suckers for anything related to defense spending.

There’s no theory. And it only takes two people to form a conspiracy. The DOD just got a budget of $700b and $7-10t over ten years. That’s pretty much out in the open for you and me and anyone to look at. If you’ve spent any time in the naught or 100 divisions of any military organization, you know that the $300 hammer of he Reagan era is a very real thing. If you follow discretionary spending by our government, you would know that defense and related spending exceed revenues, caused 90% of our debt (because it has been most of our deficits year over year) and create bickering among the people about discretionary spending.

And about a third of it is waste. It’s known waste. And nobody does anything about it because it would be anti-Murikan to say that anything related to “the troops” is wasteful or corruptible.

And then the same people whine about Benghazi like the CIA safehouse had anything to do with the State Department. I’m no stranger to the thought that the Clintons are not honest people. I didn’t vote for Bubba because of his obvious flaws. But I’m also no stranger to the knowledge that the New York loser, Donald Trump is a business moron who couldn’t build a 1000 sf house for HFM if given the plans. And he’s so much more on the corrupt side than he is even on the side of his ass being stuffed with a silver spoon… which is his foundation.

The piece of shit has convinced some good people to believe his complete bullshit. This disheartens me for America because I thought those people could see reality and not buy into the moment’s hate speech.

Since we’re destined to repeat the past, I suggest everyone study the corruption of Harding and Jackson. Study the patterns of the money flow in those times compared to now. The 1% (anyone who has any money to carry out any conspiracy ever concocted) now owns more than half the world.

Spoiler… they also own all our debt. So every credit card, mortgage, bridge loan, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera is owned by them also.

Welcome to reality. Giving money to the rich has never ever done anything good for anyone but the rich… ever. It’s part of why they’re rich. It has almost nothing to do with merit.

Create one job for $40k per year, or build a pool and spa getaway on my newly acquired acreage in order to make it more saleable in the future.

          Tough choice.

          Fucking morons!

You’re upset about something, but you don’t even see what’s in front of you. You’d rather create some fairy tale to explain your stupidity.
