Yeah. He's been tearing it up the last couple weeks since Avry Holmes returned to the line-up. He's a little wiry right now, but it doesn't stop him from scoring at will with quite a bit of physicality. Better than that, when he has a complimentary scorer he can find the guy with some nifty passing... nothing fancy, just prescient.

Yes, but I was curious of your opinion and just got around to asking. Who on the current roster does he most resemble?

Barton with a more comfortable (or confident) perimeter shot and more perimeter defensive agility. Barton has surprised me this year with a more physical game on defense than I expected, but I think he's just that smart and makes up for his lack of a lateral game with some nifty hand and body work. And it's not that Barton doesn't have the tools to be a good perimeter defender with just his feet. It's that he learned a much different game with more shooting and less driving.

Barton has nice potential. He's heady and has some skills. He just needs the minutes.
