Most of the people there on Friday and Sunday were the die-hards, many who live in Corvallis. The student section was populated by some students, some students with their parents and some grad students with their families. You could sit wherever you wanted to sit. Nobody was even checking tickets, just the normal shake hands with everyone you saw and go sit down somewhere comfortable.
1 guy that’s 6-10 He’s shown to be a forward
3 guys that are 6-8 2 are shown as forwards and one is F/C
2 guys that are 6-7 Both are forwards
1 guy that’s 6-6 Guard
3 guys that are 6-5 Two are shown as guards and the other is a forward
2 guys that are 6-3 One is a F/G and the other is a guard
1 guy that’s 6-2 Guard
Regardless of the total number as Gill tonight it will look like an AARP Convention. Hope the game doesn’t go into overtime. That would be way bedtime. JB
PS: I am having a hard time summoning up even a small bit of excitement or even interest in the upcoming bowl game.
Are you taking a pit stop to post this as you are on your journey to Shreveport? You may want to take a detour to Austin to see if UT is interested in your resume.
I haven’t been to CIS since they put in air conditioning. That’s not surprising since it was only a couple years ago. I wonder if they got rid of the B.O. and sweaty socks smell. I have been to Maples since their reno, and it still smelled like stale popcorn.
What are they thinking? He is a perfect fit for SC. They don’t even have to give him training on cheating. Guess we know why he was such a great recruiter.
At the OSU-Towson game tonight with my son, it was announced that Joe Burton is playing professional basketball in Europe. A Google search confirmed that JB is indeed posting serious numbers for the Aalborg Vikings in the Denmark league (18.5 ppg; 12.5 rpg; 4.4 apg):
Boy, was I wrong about Tedford, Clancy and Lupoi. It looks like the bad guy was mostly Lupoi. This final act of Tosh recruiting for USC while on the UW payroll tells much about him and Snark.
OT. If you sports fans are bored Saturday, you should check out the NCAA women’s volleyball
championship. Penn State is a machine and they are really something to watch. A combo of great talent and great coaching, coupled with the confidence of dominant championship level play over the last decade. They absolutely destroyed UW, the PAC champion. The match was not even competitive.
Over
more importantly, will they cover 8.5?
Easily over. It just won’t look that way.
The o/u line should be closer to 2,400. Attendance for the last 2 games was 2,369 and 2,404.
That sounds about right.

Depends on if it’s wiener and popcorn night.
I see the following on the Towson roster
1 guy that’s 6-10 He’s shown to be a forward
3 guys that are 6-8 2 are shown as forwards and one is F/C

They’re currently at 9 wins and 4 losses.
Their losses include
44 – 78 to Villanova
58 – 88 to Kansas
69 – 79 to Stephen F. Austin
55 – 67 to Sam Houston State
They’re something like 29-9 since they beat us last year.
*21-9… now 21-10
Cooks gets screwed out of becoming a unanimous All American. FWAA poll actually gives him first team, but AFCA poll does not. Consensus All American and Biletnikoff winner still look nice on the résumé though. Heck of a season.
He deserves an MVB award
What was worse was he didn’t get first place votes on all the coaches’ ballots for the All-Pac team. What was that coach or those coaches thinking?
OT: Per JoeBeav show this afternoon, looks like Jonathan Smith will be following Petersen to UW.
CONFIRMED……

Smith continues to build a nice resume, he’ll likely be a HC some day…but, will he turn out to be too much of a “nice guy” like Riley?

I’m in North Carolina…was wishing this is the week for the NC/Duke game – my bucket list venue for college basketball spectating.

Tosh Lupoi paying impermissible benefits at UW, won’t join Usc staff.

that was the worst ejection decision that I have ever seen.
No kidding. Kick to the nads is OK?
glasses ref reffing bball games now too?
nice rally after the ejection-Brandt’s got to give up the ball though…
Gomis looking good, but Barton can’t finish on the break.
The defense is looking better today. Like how they have responded without Nelson.
Beavs win. The refs were terrible, unfortunately we will have to see them again this year.
cover by gomis going 1-2 at the line with .08..gotta love recreational gambling!
Full disclosure: no action taken by this poster on today’s game.

Is that latin for buttermilk biscuit?
Pretty much.
Mmmm… tortulas!
This is decent.

Clearly someone who is unemployed and has all the free time in the world.
His two year degree from Boise State is really paying off.
Meh… you just run names through an anagram server. He forgot our P and K, Thistle Kook and Minor Overrate.
And he clearly missed on Cooks for the Bronco reference. The best of his anagrams is Nonskid Cobra.
Lou Holtz announcing for the Beav game. 1 drink per mis-speak?
Him or us?
The annoying factor will be off the charts.
Cleveland Wallace transferring from UW. Maybe they’ll let him transfer here? Could always use more CBs.
I think I saw it was SJSU.
