Blitzers Who Want to Berate This Blog

85

Keep your posts confined to this area. We don’t need that kind of vitriol spewed across various threads. I see you’re all swarming over here like decapitated chickens; likely in response to the below linked thread and your lionized leader, “Shov”, telling you my opinions are shit.

Listen, lemmings, just book your tickets to El Paso and continue to blindly follow Riley and Mamma Machado whilst gloating over every minor OSU accomplishment, like say, a victory from the…gymnastics team. Oh, and this is the kind of crap I have to deal with from you nitwits:

Your enjoyment over the injury of one of our players is just disgusting. I am fully aware of who you are and what your goal is. I hope you are just trying to get a rise out of people, and that you don’t actually believe what you write. I find it funny that you write so that what you say is perceived as fact and not the poorly informed opinion that it really is.

A couple other notes that don’t make sense. You think Wilson is the leader to take over Pankey’s position??? Wilson is an Middle Linebacker, he will never play on the outside for the Beavers. Keo Camat may be the starter during the spring but he will get surpassed by the young guys very quickly. Robinson and the Unga’s will get the first shot and don’t count out Michael Doctor who you only mentioned once. I like Akuna’s potential, but I highly doubt that he will come in during the fall and start. Riley only plays true freshman when there is an absolute need at the position. We are stacked at LB so unless Akuna comes in as a world beater, which he may well do, it is more likely that we redshirt him.

Do you attend practices regularly? If you do then I would be up for a friendly chat during one of them. I always enjoy a good discussion. It would also help put a face to this cowardly blog.

And my (much more rational) reply:

First off, thanks for your input. Now let me show you how ridiculous and blind your opinions are. If you’d kindly remove your oranges glasses:

1. You say I “enjoy” the injury of a player. Show me where I get enjoyment. It would have to involve a comment such as, “Keith Pankey is hurt, this is awesome and I am enjoying it!” and I simply don’t see that. I said the replacement will be better. Instead of focusing on the perceived “negative” that I wrote, how about focusing on the positive–that I said we have better players. That wouldn’t be convenient for you, though, would it?

2. You say Wilson is a MLB, then you mention Robinson (another MLB) as someone who could take over outside. Like Kristick, Wilson is a player who can play middle or outside. At least be consistent. That is, don’t mention a MLB for OLB after you berate me for doing it.

3. “Riley only plays true freshman when there is an absolute need at the position”. Um, define absolute need. Phillip started last year and we had other tackles, you know. Quiz started as a freshman and we had McCants (and others). I’m not going to make a blanket statement like you did, or another one, such as “Riley always plays the best player” because even that isn’t true (e.g. Pankey over Roberson, #28 over Collins, etc, etc). Riley’s decisions are many times baffling, and probably a weighing of many factors.

4. You call me a coward, yet I am the only dissenting, well-spoken, voice of reason in “Beaver Nation” (can we think up a more original moniker, please?). You’re a coward for blindly following the opinions of your cohorts, uttering stupid, brainwashed phrases such as “in Mike Riley we trust”, and closing your mind to what this blog is: due criticism in an attempt to make the team better.

When the Beavers are routinely making the Rose Bowl (or heck, higher than a Sun Bowl), come back and tell me there is no room for criticism. Until then, I suggest you shut your mouth, bite your tongue, and go back to burying your head in the sand.

And I’ll even expound upon the “cowardly” remark, just because it’s fun to show people how emotion flaws logic.

1. Are newspapers cowards when they don’t attend practice, yet write their opinions and observations of players or games?

2. Are you a coward for not coming to my door to deliver your message and instead posting it behind the anonymity of an IP address?

3. Make sense–your logic is a disgrace to humanity and a reason our academics aren’t up to par. Stop embarrassing the intelligent, objective readers who post here and enjoy the blog for the breath of fresh air that it is.

  1. Hey Angry, I love my Beavers, even to the point of being a little irrational at times, but really, even if you called my favorite player a chump or a bum or not worthy of starting (or my personal favorite, calling him by his number) I’m not going to start calling you names, because it is what it is, your opinion. Now, maybe I argue with you or tell you how great he really is, but to resort to namecalling is just sad. Your blog is one of the only ones I read regularly because of the opinions of everyone, not just you, but when you get the guys saying you’re behind all the comments or that you’re a jackass for saying Pankey going down will only help the Beavers, it makes me shake my head. The only thing I can think is that they either know the kid personally and c’mon, no matter how great a person the kid is, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s a hinderance to the team on the field.

    • Thanks.

Injuries are what they are. Sometimes they make a team worse, sometimes better. I don’t think anyone would argue that the Yankees became a better team when Wally Pip got hurt and Lou Gehrig took the helm for 2000+ games.

Yet, somehow this is causing all kinds of confusion and vitriol with Beaver fans, who can’t fathom the notion that a team can actually become better after an injury. It happens all the time. And it’s not as if I proactively wished injury on this guy. I made a comment and observation after the injury occurred, which establishes my intent and makes all the difference.

  2. Shit, if anything you were trying to find a silver lining to the fact we lost a linebacker to injury. In fact, your very saying that the team is better due to the injury of an older player because a younger, much more talented player is actually a nice tribute to the same coaches you expect more of when it comes to recruiting. You are actually saying that in the case of linebacker recruitment, OSU has actually performed well in covering their bases.

Pankey is usually as flat as a pancake when he tries to tackle fast running backs and never really impressed me in coverage. So I completely concur with you sir.

I’d bet my house that Mamma Machado deletes that thread over on Blitz when she sees it. They do not like dissent, or the possibility of their $$ defecting to the good side. It’s like the 4th Reich over there.

  4. Now the happy, well-adjusted men over at beaverblitz are taking shots at my (sad, maladjusted) readers.

“I read some of the comments……. Reply
Boy, those folks have some serious issues. Either their lives are fairly pathetic or someone must have killed their puppy a long itme ago.
Everyone is either a relative that is commenting or has been kicked off of this site. They are all drinking whatever Kool-Aid he’s serving up.

Seems like some pathetic, sad men (and a few girls) with not much else going on in their lives….sad, really…”

Punctuation and other errors left for effect.

  5. Again, I’m a big picture guy. I studied ecology, not microbiology, so it makes sense that I’d notice how the guys over at Blitz love playing up the “family atmosphere” angle. It’s hard to utter that catch phrase with any merit after this public embarrassment. Bashing fellow Beavers, peers, alums, solely because they have a dissenting opinion. And then they have the nerve to say the fellows over at my site are maladjusted dregs of society and in the wrong. Hey, we’re not banning people or bashing readers for sharing their opinions, no matter how bad they might be. The fellows at Blitz started this argument 2 years ago when they decided censorship was better for business, and that is all it is: business. If you hear anyone say “family” they’re blowing smoke up your ass. Families do not disown their own over a difference in opinion. Sounds much more like a cult mentality to me.

Well it has become clear who “cactus jack” was.

Our friend, JPTheBeaver: “Silver, don’t be fooled… all along, “angry” has used multiple ID’s in his blog comment section to make it appear that he has people that agree with him. The saddest of all is BeaverGirl or whatever it is whom he posts as occasionally to make folks think he has a girlfriend.

So, the good news is, it’s really just one mentally unstable nut writing the vast majority of all that drivel and not a whole heard of lunatics”

Funny that a guy who made various names over here just to say I had multiple personalities is now telling his chums that the readers of this blog are nothing more than my multiple personalities. I think that qualifies as irony?

God, I might have to create a whole new blog to make fun of these ding bats. There is simply too much material to confine to this one thread!

Oh, and for those who are visual like myself, this is JPTheBeaver: http://vmedia.rivals.com/UserMedia/FanPagesPhoto/433/T167433_2.jpg

Bahahaah, all he needs is a foam finger with the Sun Bowl logo on it.

  7. I may just be a maladjusted dreg of society myself angry, and to be honest I do not often agree with you. Much of that is perspective which is fine. You do present a point of view which requires a significant amount of thinking as opposed to bandwagon jumping or cheerleader excitement. I never did respond to your Pankey blog only because you and the readers had actually thought it out. I wanted to smack you for belittling Pankey but you did a good job of focusing on his body of work as opposed to him the person. I choose to see the positives and focus on improving those, but your blog makes me avoid the orange color glasses and try to see things without the tint. But to blast you for your opinion seems absurd. This is your opinion and those of people who want to comment. If they want to not read you or ignore you then bully for them, but to ban you and attempt to squelch your voice, all so they can CHARGE us for their opinions – well they won’t get my dime.

    • Not only that Paulscpa, but I created this blog *specifically* because they wouldn’t let me have my opinions over there and specifically to be left alone, and look what happens: they come after me over here, talking trash about me on their board, a place where I can’t respond to the criticism or insults. It’s truly amazing and their actions say more about those people than I possibly could. I’m out.

      • I think if you wanted to be left alone, you probably shouldn’t have been crapping on Blitz and those running it for the past several months. You’ve been slinging mud at them since you started this blog, so it’s kind of sad to act like the comments that have been written there today were unprovoked. You’ve been shitting on them for months and this is the first time anyone over there has said anything about your site, so I’m not sure anyone should feel too sorry for you now since you’re the one that has kept this alive.

You offering up your negative opinions of OSU athletics, other web sites and those that run them is perfectly valid, but it’s unacceptable for others to criticize you and your blog? Doesn’t that strike you as a little hypocritical?

      • You are a liar and a hypocrite.

I will spell it out slowly for you. Neither I nor any of these bloggers write on your blog. You and the vile, law-breaking, stalker creature JPTheBeaver–and a handful of others–do so on this one. You have the same choice I and everyone else does. Read it or don’t.

JPTheBeaver’s filthy harassment over several months makes you a liar. Others have commented, but their lackluster and scattered thoughts usually just end with nothing more than calling someone a moron. They don’t hold a candle to JPTheBeaver though. They are all still here for you to see if you wish to read them. It may humble your sensitivities to know that you associate with a psychopathic coward who spews nothing but denigrating filth on an otherwise clean blog.

        • Wow, quite the reply, Jack. Though, your little rant really has nothing to do with what I said.

But I think it’s cute the way you rush to angry’s defense. Can’t he speak for himself?

Funny how you talk about supposed “harassment”, yet, angry is the one that has created that animosity by repeatedly trashing Blitz and those running it when prior to today there had been nothing on that site about this blog. Absent that harassment of Blitz, do you think any of this discussion would be taking place? Prior to him starting this blog site, nobody even thought about him for years. But, apparently he can’t let his anger over being banned go.

Since you brought it up, isn’t the other choice, aside from reading, that people have is to offer a comment or not?

I thought angry’s whole gig was that he wanted a place to freely express an unpopular opinion. Does that right not extend to those that read his blog? What, do only those that blindly agree with him get to post? Isn’t that what he hates about Blitz?

        • What are you talking about, dude. Post all you want. I didn’t delete anything you have said.

But speak the truth. You guys constantly talk about “Castor Nation” and “mattrite” over there. Look at Shov’s post in the main blog, and I quote, “We’ve had several people comment on this blog.”

          • Ok, yes, the names Castor and Matritte have come up, but I think you’re delusional if you think it’s happening constantly.

As far as the several people quote, those comments certainly haven’t happened on the message boards. If they had, I’m sure you’d have reacted in your blog like you did today. You seem to be over-looking the possibility of those comments coming in via e-mail. I know that happens, since I myself e-mailed Angie when I saw the site and since it hadn’t been mentioned on the boards I didn’t know if she was aware of it.

By the way, since you’ve apparently been banned from the site for some time, how are you still accessing the lodge?

Are you actually paying for a site that you keep saying is crap and a waste of money? That would certainly seem strange.

          • I’ll ask again since I’m sure you just missed the question rather than avoided having to answer it.

By the way, since you’ve apparently been banned from the site for some time, how are you still accessing the lodge?

Are you actually paying for a site that you keep saying is crap and a waste of money? That would certainly seem strange.

        • angry can speak for himself. Since JPTheBeaver chose my handle to break the law in a stalking attempt to besmirch me, all your comments on this blog about other comments on this blog that you are not forced to read are relevant.

When you show me the gun that was put to your head that forced you to read this blog I will back down. Otherwise, you’re just pathetic.

And yes, you are allowed to comment as much as you like. The pathetic psychobabble rants about whatever it is you’re talking about will not be censored. Even the creepy stalker filth that JPTheBeaver posts isn’t censored. And your shame from your association with him should be a complete embarrassment. I do pity your situation.

So post away if you feel so inclined. Just remember that you’re not hiding behind the mod-protected pay site which you apparently think needs protecting from little ol’ angry. You’re going to get actual responses from real people who know proper grammar and might disagree with you.

I imagine a world in which Blitz posters are not so insecure and unfulfilled… a world where they make mature and thoughtful on-topic remarks.

          Someday maybe?

  8. With your superior knowledge and take on things, it amazes me that the athletic department has yet to hire you for some sort of special advisor position. It’s clear that you know what is best for OSU and it’s a shame that a valuable voice such as yours has been isolated to the darkest parts of the internet.

    fish will bite

    • Actually, you’d be surprised at the kind response to any criticism of OSU athletics when presented to the department itself.

This sentiment has been voiced by many friends who are alums, professors, emeritus and general administrative staff. Half a dozen of these friends and I wrote a letter to Bobby D lambasting him for picking on the hardworking folks who couldn’t afford the travel, time or tickets to fill Reser Stadium.

He wrote back apologizing for his frustration getting the better of him, and we thought that was a suitable end to the situation. We now know that he must have heard similar dissent from other sectors, because that was not the end of it.

And thank you for at least acknowledging that we are superior of thought and vision. It must take great strength of character to send truth to the darkest parts of the internet.

  9. Not Shoveller…you know you remind me of Jon Warren? An unintelligent, uniformed guy who is still bitter about not getting the OSU play-by-play job several years ago, which we can relate to your regular bans from blitz, and instead have to live in the shadow of the guy who received that job. Your probably 5’7 and overweight too.

  10. Hey Subj, when you start throwing names of people out there who have NOTHING to do with this “issue” you have gone way too far. I happen to know Jon Warren and would never use the word bitter in relation to his attitude. In fact I did not even know he applied for the play by play job. So you obviously talk out of the wrong side of your face. Don’t throw names out that are not part of the issue. That is just wrong. And for your info, I am a few inches taller than 5’7″ but definitely overweight.

  11. Why do you post your website on the oregonlive section? You give sports fans a bad name. ONE TEAM wins the National Championship every year. What makes you think that Oregon St. should be that team every year? That is Orange colored glasses. Get with the program. How can a Beaver fan rip on a player early in their career anyways? How many times has Mike Riley’s guys failed miserably only to become a star or hero later down the road? When are you going to learn your lesson? Life is much better being happy.

    • Pankey is not early in his career. He has played for three years and is clearly not getting it done. See being a starter in his third year of significant time and being replaced. He won’t grow anymore, most Riley players blossom after a single bad year. Even if Akuna or anyone else is not better, at least they are probably equal and will grow after.

    • In 2008 he had 13 starts. He had less solo tackles than he had starts. That’s completely unacceptable.

I even remember watching the safeties push or pull him out of the hole to get to the ball because he couldn’t get off his blocks.

  12. “Life is much better being happy.”

    Look at this Bobby McFerrin.

But I digress. You’re misinformed. I never said OSU should win the National Championship. The goal should be the Rose Bowl, for which there is a realistic 1 in 10 chance. That it hasn’t happened since 1965 means there are people deserving of criticism.

  13. On behalf of columnists around the country, the reason you are being called a coward is because you don’t identify yourself when publishing articles. Newspaper columnists have a name and face attached to a column and take accountability. You write a blog out of spite and don’t identify yourself. Please don’t compare what you do to anyone at other newspapers that are trained to write or have media connections. You lash out because you don’t understand.

There’s nothing wrong with writing a misguided blog, but in the future don’t lump yourself with the media or put a name and face with your column.

    • In the future, don’t tell me what I can or can’t do in a free society, because frankly you sound ridiculous, and your anger toward me and this blog is palpable, which suggests several types of mental disease.

And your understanding of history and publishing are rudimentary at best. There are literally thousands of people who published underground newspapers and pamphlets using non de plumes or complete anonymity. You might want to look at to the Civil War (not the game) and Russian Revolution era history for some of the easiest examples to find. The reason people with differing opinions have to take this approach is because of cattle like yourself who will use every opportunity to destroy their lives for simply dissenting.

    • Did I miss something? Is there a bunch of ad space on this opinion blog which calls itself an opinion blog in the header? Are these ‘articles’ for which the authors are paid? Or are they simply blog posts which don’t garner a wage for anyone? Is this a highly censored–and rightly so–news outlet which is only relevant because it provides a service to the community at large?

The only mention of newspapers in this post touches on the common practice of remote reporting. Shouldn’t you be speaking on behalf of the AP cut-n-paste ‘why are we struggling to be relevant’ tree killers? Am I to understand that phone and email conversations are not legitimate ‘media’ connections unless the sources are identified? Because the same defamation and libel laws that apply to newspapers apply to even lowly opinion blogs. And blog host liabilities require accountability through an archived registration should the law seek such accountability.

This is all good to know. The next time I read ‘a source who wishes to remain anonymous’ I’ll know to disregard that article’s legitimacy… even with a name and face and ad-space and a salary attached to it. Or is that an example of a legitimate ‘media’ connection that can be assumed to be true because that kind of anonymity is just fine?

Thanks for the timely information… newspaper columnist guy or gal who dabbles in psychotherapy all while hiding behind a nameless, faceless comment on a blog you were not forced to read and apparently didn’t comprehend in the first place.

      Wise words indeed.

    • That was a good expounding of my sentiments.

Funny how he holds the media in such high esteem, too. Probably “Cassonblitz”, who is writing pieces over at Blitz and fancying himself a “real writer.”

Herbert Swope, who created the op-ed, is quoted as saying this:

“It occurred to me that nothing is more interesting than opinion when opinion is interesting, so I devised a method of cleaning off the page opposite the editorial, which became the most important in America … and thereon I decided to print opinions, ignoring facts.”

I can’t say I disagree, but facts backing up opinion makes a piece doubly interesting. The fact that you blitzers have a 30 post/1000 view thread about this blog proves I’m doing something right. Now I’m sure you’ll post this over there and Mamma Machado will subsequently delete it–frankly, can’t believe she hasn’t done so already.

      • Anyone who writes is a real writer. I know several writers who at times wish they could just write. Many of them have learned to manage a blog to keep their thoughts flowing. But many of them also have to have a day job in order to survive.

However, I will never charge readers for my opinions or speculations. I believe that to be wrong on its face.

Actual news is a different animal, but there are so many sources available that those who charge for their news run the risk that their readers one day become intelligent enough to use the google.

      • I don’t think it’s wrong to charge people for your writing since it can be work, but it is wrong to purposely lead people on/tease them with information you know to be wrong just to get them to sign up and pay for your site.

I have a book published and available on Amazon.com. I spent a lot of time writing it, and so I do charge for it. I don’t feel guilty for that.

        • But that’s the whole of the work. It took labor to create it and more labor and materials to publish it. Newspapers are the same, and I don’t begrudge them their business.

But editorials and opinions have no hierarchy or purpose other than to exist for themselves. If people wish to read them and agree/disagree with them that’s fine. But charging people for what is tantamount to a blog post in all cases is unethical.

That we’re talking about a site that willfully preys on teen athletes for this same practice makes me feel dirty by association. They charge people for access to a blog… nothing else. It actually decreases their liabilities since what’s written is deemed exclusive rather than public. I’m sure their terms of service require that their content remains secretive… as if they don’t want the light to really shine on what they say.

And you’re the coward for posting your opinion where anyone can see it. Yeah… that makes sense.

        • The only legitimate and ethical opinion/speculation/editorial site is one open to the public. It’s fine to make an income from ad space, but charging the reader for such content is just wrong.

It’s also highly cynical to think your readers are so stupid that they don’t know how to use a search function.

        • Yeah, I agree–they would do much much better with an ad revenue business model. But then they’d have to tolerate others, you know? The way it’s set up now, there are about 20 fifty year old guys who all know each other in real life and pay 100$ a year to read the site. I don’t think they want to give up that clique (aka the 4th Reich).

          • They can set up a an invite-only blog… for free.

Wow! It took me two seconds to come up with that idea.

I keep in touch with family and friends through facebook, email and phone… for free. We also a have a friends and family fantasy football league that just ended its 13th year. I did not win the first three-peat this last year.

I get friendship. I don’t get paying for friendship.

          • But, angry, if it’s so bad why do you keep going over there and reading it?

If they don’t provide any real info and it’s all bullshit speculation, how come – more than coincidentally – your little bits of recruiting info on your blog almost invariably coincide so closely in time with the articles they release?

          • Imagine that. What fifteen different blogs and news sources learn in the recruiting world all happens within hours of each other and becomes public knowledge so quickly that it would be more than absolutely stupid to pay for membership to a recruiting site.

That leaves paying for friendship as the only other reason to do it. Since I’m not into prostitution, I just can’t empathize.

          • Why are you replying to JackBeav and calling him Angry, and why are you confusing what he said with what I said?

Also, why do you follow this blog so religiously that you know when and what is posted?

          • Sorry, I accidentally replied to the wrong post. Please forgive me.

But, as the post indicated, it was directed at you, and you seemed to figure it out.

So, are you going to answer the question, or just try to deflect away from it by muddying the waters with making an issue of me replying to the thread and why I read your blog (after all, shouldn’t you want people to follow your blog religiously)?

Again, why do you keep reading Blitz if you hate it and claim that the content is just hype to sucker people into paying?

And, since an option to reply to your comment about “There’s no such thing as a “ban”.” I’ll ask you here to clarify that.

You yourself have said on this site more than once you were “banned”. So, how does that work, if there is no ban?

So, are you still paying to read Blitz content, or are you lying about being banned? Since the Blitz folks have made it clear you’re banned, something doesn’t add up.

It’s obvious you are reading the subscription portions of the site as the screen cap of the Lodge proves, so what’s the deal? Are you just a giant hypocrite that is paying for something you keep saying has no value?

          • You ducking the hard questions again, Angry?

Why are you so reluctant to talk honestly about how and why you’re still reading subscription content on Blitz when you say it’s a crap site not worth paying for?

          • oh sure because blitz is the only source of information for angry. i have noticed that he posts and interprets articles from a variety of sources and there is no reason why he can’t read articles from blitz. Its a great strategy, actually. you know what they say about keeping your enemies closer…

          • So cute that you tried to jump in and help, but you’re only making it worse.

“no reason he can’t read articles from blitz”

Uh, how about his claims that he’s banned and that he’d never pay to read Blitz?

If banned and/or not paying, how is he reading subscription content?

  14. This is fun!

“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.” — Mahatma Ghandi

Of course he also said, ““Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messenger will be rejected.”

But what fun would that be?

  15. Angrybeaver: are you the same person as JackBeav? It’s an entertaining angle, but you agree with each other on major points, share the same writing style, and often post within minutes of each other. It makes the comments section as entertaining as the blogs!

  16. I’d say this is like picking the low-hanging fruit, except the fruit is on the ground and worm-infested. I don’t even get the satisfaction of hearing them scream while I eat them alive.

    Beavobill,

Since your syntax and verbiage are identical to another who stalks here I’m going to go ahead and assume that you are the same scum-eating filth monger that casually breaks the law while creepily stalking this blog. I give you my apology in advance for associating you with someone whose online persona denotes someone who most likely eats kitten stew and beats children for a hobby… if in fact you are not the same person. It’s just that you post with an uncanny resemblance that vile wretch of a sub-human.

    • I don’t think it’s that they don’t believe us; I think it’s that they see it gets a rise out of people so they continue to say it. Since they can’t win with just the pen, they’re resorting to this pen/sword combination where they blurt out an easy, lowest common denominator type of insult and hope blood pressure takes us all out. For that reason I’ve decided to stop defending that point and I suggest everyone does the same.

  17. Hey shithead mcmorons….angry/jack/beavgirl are NOT the same person. There has been overwhelming proof to this end, and the fact you keep bringing it up shows you have no ability to debate anything and have the argumentative skills of a small child.

Angry deserves to have his opinion here and anywhere else, and I think that on many occasions he has made astute observations. Too bad they are edited out in other locations because more Beavers should enjoy what we produce but also remain critical until the ultimate goal- a NATIONAL title- or at least a CONFERENCE TITLE, are obtained.

I will site an example Suaesi Tuimanei. For weeks, that ass clown with the number 28 gave up at least one (if not two touchdowns) per game and Angry was his biggest critic and mentioned it before any credible “news source” would do so. Buker, Blitzers, Machado and others are feeding the overinflated sense of accomplishment some Beavers feel and they wouldn’t dare single out a certain safety that sucked ass, but Angry did so and eventually the media followed suit.

Now I’m not saying Angry is a trendsetter, but he does have some football know-how, and people need to get rid of this complex they have where coaches are infallible beings who know the game of football in and out. They are playing a chess match out there with recruits, offensive/defensive playcalling, motivations, and other intangibles with other coaches and the fact is that some coaches are better than others

Riley has his strengths, and even has some strengths like loyalty that can turn into a weakness. He allowed Suaesi to remain as a starter, as well as Kevin Frahm and useless Ben Terry, instead of telling Banker (who I think is a weak ass coach who got lucky in 2006-2007 with some great talent) to yank the players that weren’t performing. Pankey is yet another player that fits this mold, and although he might be a nice guy/good leader- he sucked out there for a number of years. If he is a true leader, he doesn’t have to be out on the field, and in fact, might be better served on the sidelines learning his position so he can make a valuable back-up (which talentwise, is all he really deserves).

Sadly, logic and reason are wasted on your turds…so I’ll put my rant to rest by asking Angry to either write some more, and if there was ever room for additional writers that aren’t “supposed alter egos” to join in the critical discussion.

    • Yeah, I also told these guys that I thought the PAC-10 was likely going to expand (this was around the end of 2007) and got laughed off the board. They said “The Pac-10 will NEVER expand” and listed a bunch of ridiculous reasons why. What I remember most was that word “never” in a big, capitalized font yelling at me.

I can think of a bunch of other points, but typing them out isn’t worth it. It’s not as if they’re going to admit there are reasons to be critical and/or that they actually don’t know everything and are wrong more often than realized.

        • Yeah…

Don’t get too caught up thinking that Mrs. Pankey is actually the one posting. There are several reasons I thought it wasn’t her in the first place.

You Blitzers are scum for pretending to be anyone you are not on any blog. It’s illegal and immoral.

You make yourselves to be lesser than even what your projected obsession tells you this blog is by pretending to be the mother of someone who is injured.

And you make yourselves even lesser than that by posting what could be personal information, though it’s probably just a joke email address like the joke mind that put it there.

And, to top it all off, you are so poor in your fraud that you make Mrs. Pankey out to be stupid and weak. What are you cretins doing? Do you even half believe that she would take the time to read any blog let alone do it through a proxy server while she was at work?

angry, you should probably apologize to Mrs. Pankey for allowing a Blitz-scum fraud to make you feel slighted by their illegal portrayal of her as stupid, weak and shallow… but not as much as this Blitz psychopath needs to apologize to her.

This is a prime example of why fraud and defamation are illegal.

          • I more than agree that scumBlitz should give one to everyone involved… especially the victims of his fraud and identity theft. But we all know that’s not going to happen. Someone with honesty or integrity wouldn’t break the law in the first place.

          • Dudes. Do you really think I’d let the crap you write about my son go by without responding?

Beavlet – You’re right. I don’t know much about computers, but I know this: I really am beginning to feel sorry for you. I can’t imagine going thru life so bitter and mean. Please stop writing nasty things about Keith being hurt.

          • “Dudes. Do you really think I’d let the crap you write about my son go by without responding?”

What crap? I seriously doubt the real Mrs. Pankey would keep coming back for updates. Any parent might feel compelled to misread what’s written on a small blog and lash out once in a spiteful and emotional outburst. But that’s about it. And no moron is stupid enough to post their personal information on the same blog for all to see… let alone come back just to prove that they’re so stupid they can’t even remember where it was they posted this outburst. This is identity theft, fraud and defamation of a good woman’s–I’m assuming by the quality character of her kids–character.

            “You’re right. I don’t know much about computers….”

Well, you’re the only one who knows enough–or has the inclination–to hide behind a proxy server. There’s really only one Blitzscum who has reason to hide like a coward behind a proxy, and that’s the same Blitzscum that stalks and steals identies with regularity on this blog.

It’s sick. It’s pathetic. And you should be shamed by your actions. But that would be how a normal person responds… not a psychopathic Blitzscum like yourself.

For the record… if you had an inkling of what the Pankeys have had to endure in their personal lives, you would conclude that they have way too much strength of character to be surreptitiously lurking around some blog that says anything remotely bad about Keith’s football abilities.

Saying that Keith is less talented than other football players or that he needs more size to maximize what talents he does have wouldn’t even be a molecule of water off their backs.

Your identity theft stoops to the worst level by portraying someone strong, direct and intelligent as precisely the opposite.
