To my eyes, McCoy is not a good enough QB to win a game like one, and the team overall didn’t look good enough to win (vs a more established high school level program). Lol. So, I’m going SDSU in this one with them being at home. If Johnson or Gulbranson play a lot in this game, I think our chances go way up and we could win, but I’m going off what I saw last week.

I’m going with an ugly game that’s closer than expected as the Beavs break in a ton of new players, schemes, coaches, etc.
This is going to be surreal and hilarious to watch glorified high school football this year.

At this point in our history, I just assume anyone who is a bigger deal than us a loss. Basically because they can pay players more, use us as a farm system via the portal, etc. So I assume Oregon, Purdue, and Cal are all loses.
What about the other games and teams? Anyone follow them enough to have an educated guess on them? Based on how many players we lost, it looks to me like a 3 or 4 win season, but I haven’t really followed closely who we gained. So, tell me who we gained that’s going to make this season more than 3 or 4 wins!
Starting a new thread since the last one was pretty much dead.
Now that the 2024 athletics season has all but officially ended, it’s just a matter of weeks(August 2nd) till the 10 teams officially leave the Pac12 and OSU/WSU are the sole representatives of the conference.
Summer is just about here. Will be interesting to see what the baseball roster looks like once the portal closes.
According to this 247 link, there are already close to 4000 baseball players in the portal.
Players that do enter, risk not getting picked up.
Outside of athletics, I’d be curious to hear if anybody has any interesting summer plans?
Vacations, outdoor projects, etc…
