That was a really impressive series by the Beavs. At this point the goal has to be playing loose and playing their best ball at the end of the year. All coaching efforts should be on the mental game.

Beavs pull off the sweep as they should have, and now it’s on to Utah. Need 2 out of 3 on the road vs a 72rpi.

With Washington having a 125 RPI and the Beavs at home, this has to be a sweep. Anything less will be considered Mitch-the-out-athleting-extraordinaire…choking.

A pretty good test coming for Mitch and the guys. When they squared off in Arizona to begin the season the Beavs scoring machine was the big story, plating 22 runs in the two game series. Now, with the exception of the final game vs Dirtbags, Beavs have been taking twice as many games to find 22 runs.

Ranked 11 or 12 in some polls, the Zags are certainly a “quality opponent”, a split seems acceptable.
