Beavers are going to be sooooo good next season. A lot of Beavers are having good summers. Jae Rodriguez is tearing up the Cape Cod League and that’s a really tough league. He’s going to have a big Junior year. The guy who will likely be their starting third baseman next season, Jerad Casper, is having a good summer in the West Coast League. He leads the league in home runs and is one of the leaders in RBI’s. He’s going to give the Beavers some real pop behind Conforto. Looking forward to next season.
Is Jordan Villamin going to announce for the Beavs tomorrow? He is friends with Bolden and chemistry like that is usually helpful in team building. Hope so.
That will look like a pro facility. Imagine showing a kid that and telling them that’s where they’re going to be playing. Probably part of the reason they have 10-11(?) recruits and OSU has two plus a bad rivals rumor.
Not suggesting that the building the other half of Reser is the answer (we have beaverbyte for that). But along with OSU’s losing, the coaching changes and stadium improvements elsewhere, the lack of dynamism at OSU is brought into very specific relief.
I hope OSU continues to “own” UW, for what its worth…it helps that they are under-coached.
