  1. So far I’m not too impressed, but they do look bigger and more athletic, at least the starters. Pass more of the eyeball test than last year.

  2. Just because Chrome is telling you a site is “dangerous” it doesn’t mean you can’t use it. Be smart. use adblock, don’t install or sign up for anything and enjoy a pretty solid stream.

  3. So…..do the Beavs have the ability to kill some clock and keep Minny out of scoring range? 7-14 amd I still give is a shot in 2nd half, but 7-21 sounds pretty formidable

  4. Bolden seems to always pull a redeeming play out of his ass whem he hasnt been playing well. Nice grab there. Was worried when I saw Garretson double pump before throwing

  5. Game is far from over, don’t know what everybody is seeing… First game of the year, on the road, not very sharp but game is even… Don’t disagree about depth, that could be an issue 2nd half for sure but to me they are very much in it.

      • Trust me I’ve followed this site for quite awhile lol… It just seems they can’t see progress, beavs look like a much better team this year… I am not saying they are good by any means but def better

  6. Andersen could be up to #13 on hot seat if he doesn’t get his first meaningful win tonight. Good news is Clune > Sitake and Garretson if he can feel out his blind side is a decent game manager. Better coach will win tonight. Time for big boy football GA.

  7. Don’t see any first half stats yet, TOP should show how much time Beavs D has been on field, Penalties should show Minnie needed a couple more practices. That is the way it seems to me.

Need an early O drive to encourage D.

  8. So is it safe to assume if you take away both those fumbles we are possibly winning this game 30 to 3? I know it doesn’t work like that, but it’s nice to think that way?

  9. Who’d have thought that a QB with two fumbles would be actually playing a fine game?
Who’d have thought that the C who would have created the most problems for his own team would not be Yanni…………..so far………..knock wood.

  10. Game over, but I’m happy with what I’ve seen compared to last year. We’re definitely improved. It won’t be a total waste of a season.

  11. That’s a really bad loss. Really bad.
Sure, they looked better, but every clutch play was botched. MN without 4 starters. Gotta win that game

  12. terrible OL and WR play. also that play call was dumb. GA might need to look a little further than utah state for his offensive staff…

  13. Same issue as last year: Offense just not good enough. Two sack-fumbles, a wasted timeout in the second half, bad snaps (granted not as bad as Minnesota), Bolden drops two for every ball he catches, and could only score three times despite 3 gopher defenders being ejected.

  14. That’s probably the worst loss since Sac State.
MN was so bad. That QB was probably the 2nd worst they’ll see all year after Idaho State.

This does not bode well for the season.

  15. That was terrible, we are shit on the o-line. The receivers can barely get off the line. The defence acts like they have never seen a mobile QB. Going to be another tough building year.

  16. Giving this game a Poopy Pants Honorable mention. Should have been a 7-10 point win for the Beavs but too many Bolden dropped passes and a very questionable play call on 4th and 1. GA is 0-11 in P5 games as OSU Head Coach.

Saying the Andersen experiment has under impressed so far is plenty fair. Andersen a program builder? Any way you slice it he is looking at something arouna a 1-19 start in P5 games & at best 2-18.

Pettibone was underrated as at least he produced a couple memorable and hard fought Civil War wins including at Autzen. Right now looks like GA will be very fortunate to beat Colorado. I want to see some heavy soul searchinh from this football staff and program. They don’t expect and are close to forgetting how to win.

    • Look at his history…. Year 3 is the key… Who knows we are missing basically all of our best recruits because they couldn’t qualify… That hurts too

  17. Beating a dead horse I know, but you’ll never convince me that we shouldn’t schedule those kind of games. Lots of fun to watch (with equal parts frustration thrown in) If all fanbases were like Minnesota’s, this sport would be even greater than it is. We’ll get ’em on the return game!

  18. Lack of talent on the OL but I’m very happy about how close it was. The team played hard and showed promise. Thought the D was better than I expected. But the OL sucks.

  19. Yanni should just start rolling the ball to Garretson. At least he’d know what’s coming his way.

And who knew Garretson is related to one of the worst officials in NBA history. “Stop looking at me Sheed!!!”

  20. On the bright side:

    1. Seth was our best receiver
    2. Nall is still legit but needs to work on durability 13 carries would have been 20 if not for the dings
    3. Elu is going to be a beast he gets a lot of push and is quick to the ball
    4. Outside of a few over pursuits and falling for that stupid pump fake Chappel played well
    5. Garretson missed a few big throws but was solid otherwise

Changes I see to get better:

    1. More Lucas less Bolden
    2. More targets for Villamin
    3. More conservative pass plays on 1st down
