Casey changed up the rotation between yesterday and today. Drew Rasmussen is expected to pitch the first game of the double header, with Eckert throwing the second game tomorrow.
Got tickets just over a week ago, looked like sales were brisk. Not a lot to choose from in reserved.
BTW, how about the free standing room only deal? Is that new? If I lived close I’d be checking that out for sure, but not gonna make a long drive to take the chance. Besides, the “no access to restrooms” feature could be a concern.
Earlier this year they announced that more season tickets had been sold than previous years. There will be plenty of empty seats I can assure you. There’s just not a good process to get unused tickets to somebody that wants them.
Yeah, I read that. Was responding to the comment that tickets would be cheap. The scalper guy at the parking garage is gonna do a brisk business this year if there isn’t a good way developed to “get unused tickets to somebody that wants them”. Is Stub Hub a likely method?
Don’t ya think the empty seats will be reduced due to folks wanting to check out the changes to Goss? Along with the new roster?
I do pretty good on Craigslist getting rid of tickets I can’t use for Beaver events. I always just list them at face value so I don’t have to eat them. Nobody can go to everything.
Always nice to give up an out to end the inning to a pitcher throwing junk up to the plate. Hate when coaches try to “steal” a run early in the game with a pitcher struggling a little
Hitting sounds close to par with last few seasons. Pitching sounds to be an extreme drop off from prior few years. Was not expecting such a massive drop. Granted I’ve not seen much of this years club, but the numbers are speaking for themselves.
Thats it, I’m settin up a vizit with Flat Casey tomorrow.
I could pitch, I could play 1st in my sleep, center, hot corner, base coach. The list goes on!!!!!!
I’m a 5-8 tool player the way I see it!!!! I’ve got more tools than Bob the builder!!! Maybe my nickname could be the carpenter!! Just like the man himself!!!
Considering that staying away from the bottle while driving was too daunting of a task for you, I seriously doubt you have any capacity for multi-tasking on the baseball diamond.
We do know the general idea, just not the specifics yet. And the FCC voting process has always looked like this so it’s not like they are doing something blatantly nefarious by hiding the regulation.
But now we face the really hard part: making sure the FCC doesn’t abuse its authority.
Lol. At least they realize. This was a back door, trojan horse, guys. They couldn’t pass it through the front door. Don’t worry, it will be modified for our own good, to protect us from ourselves.
I don’t see how that’s possible. If the gubmint wants to collect all the metadata it can, why constrict said data and force alternate communications for all us evil terroristic peons?
Nobody knows because they can’t release it until all final edits by each of the board members are returned and implemented.
I’m sure you can guess who the two board members are who have not returned their final edits yet.
I’ve heard all sorts of stuff. One person told me the thing was really only 10 pages long, and the rest is a bunch of if-then clarifications and question-answering. But you can probably be sure that it’s similar to the Open Internet Order, except it now draws ISPs into the common carrier classification, which is where they should be.
Please…please…let one of our basketball teams win today. The women need this win bad. I sincerely hope they fix the ball screen issues they had and I wonder if Cal sags on Hamblin the way Stanford did.
Boyd and Gray for Cal are like Stockton and Malone out there (Gray is 3rd in scoring in conference, Boyd is first in assists by a large margin). We need to stop that inside outside game they have going. They don’t have the super quick and talented guards that Stanford does, but this Cal team beat Stanford in Maples (as well as got beat by Stanford at Haas).
I also hope that this shooting thing works itself out. Honestly? I think it was jitters from the start and overthinking for the women. Something felt off from the first three that Syd completely airballed from the corner. Only Jamie really was a knockdown shooter, an antithesis from having the deep threats of Gabby, Syd, Ali, Syd, Deven, and Syd. If they shoot the way they really can, this game against Cal should be a win. Shoot 6-28 again when defenders aren’t even closing out that well like Thursday and don’t expect good things to happen.
Anyone here hear about how pissed off some fans are that football starts off at 5pm on Friday? Might have missed it, if you guys talked about it… But…another example of OSU fans who need to be hit in the throat with a lead pipe. If you were to ask me: “hey, if riley leaves and you get a coach who is willing to run spread and create a nasty defense in the process, would you be willing to have EVERY game on a Friday night?” Not sure how many people would have said no to that. I know I wouldnt. And so now that we have two games on a Friday ( I believe) fans are saying “this is why I’m not a season ticket holder” REALLY?????? idk… Am I the only one who feels like fans who are currently bitching are doing so at ENTIRELY the wrong time, and/or just really don’t understand what OSU could possibly have in the making? 4 sport powerhouse school. Baseball, Basketball (men and women) AND now football? But by all means, Protest your season tickets away. SMH
The only thing I see wrong with it is that some people out there probably bought season tickets knowing they would be missing one game. I’m thinking those complaining have familial obligations. If your kid’s opening game is that Friday, and you were previously thinking, “Cool! I get to see my kid play. Then the next day we can go down to Corvallis and watch my alma mater and see our new coaches and make a day of it.”
It would piss me off if I bought season tickets and suddenly found out I should have bought games on a single basis. I would want my money back since I’m not the one wasting it.
I much prefer a Friday at 5:00 vs a late Saturday game. I’m not sure what qualifies as geriatric, I’m OS class 78. That sounds like a long time ago… What happened, when did I get old…
Casey changed up the rotation between yesterday and today. Drew Rasmussen is expected to pitch the first game of the double header, with Eckert throwing the second game tomorrow.
I’m going to the Sat game because it is early and the tickets will be cheap and I’ll get a whole section so my son can run around a little
Saturday is a doubleheader
no way my son could make it two game heck it would be hard for me also
Break it up with a walk over to Gill to see the gals.
you have to go to the early games because that is when the beavers have been wining lately football; basketball

Anxious to see how Rasmussen does.

It’s raining pretty hard here in Corvallis right now. Not going to be a pleasant night at the ballpark.
Beavs are going to sweep these guys.
Hendrix looked safe. It’s almost like umpires are afraid to call safe on routine grounders.
Ice to bat fifth, whadaya think
Grambling State cannot hit at all and Andrew Moore look sharp, he could be in for a monster night
Always nice to give up an out to end the inning to a pitcher throwing junk up to the plate. Hate when coaches try to “steal” a run early in the game with a pitcher struggling a little
saying that they have weekend game were the rain is bad is not good to use to sell tickets
4-0 Beavs after 3 innings
Andrew Moore has a perfect game through 5
quite yous
Gabe Clark’s bomb makes it 5-0 Beavers after 5
Andrew Moore loses perfect game with 2 outs in the 7th
how do you call that a base it to break up the no hitter
5-2 Beavers after 6 1/2
Heimlich walks two with two out to load the bases. Woodward in.
Grand Slam game tied….
This team flat out sucks on the mound
And all with two out and they only had 3 hits before the slam
Rasmussen and Moore have been decent this year, everyone else has had major issues.
Moore deserved much better. This Bullpen needs to get much better before conference play.
This pitching is embarrassing. I have 4 years eligibility….
Beavs on their 5th pitcher of the inning.
Sacks juiced for the second time this inning
This loss would be an absolute disaster. The pitching does not reflect well on Yeskie. Same issue year after year.
he was pitching coach of the year last year one could say it was due to his pitchers so
Grambling state goes ahead on the BB
This bullpen is absolute fucking garbage! No other way to put it
They didn’t have a base runner until the 7th inning
This Grambling pitcher isn’t even close to the plate.
Might want to take the bunt off and see if you can draw a walk instead.
Beavs tie it without a hit. 3 BB and Hit batter
Joey Jansen’s baserunning has been terrible this inning
just learned Jansen is a terrible base runner.
No shit. And after at least two baserunning errors he bluffs from third prior to being brought in by Hendrix.
Nobach doubles to score 2 but base running error cost Beavs another run.
8th inning disaster for both clubs pitchers.
Watching from behind this mesh screen sucks.
So does Hickey.
he’ll leave a mark that is for sure
Hey, Hickey just went to 3-0 on the season!
Hickey loads the bases with two out.
Beavs escape. 10-7
Beavs win 10-7
Brutal game
Something needs to change or this is going to be very suspect when the P-12 schedule starts.
Wow. If this is reloading, we should eject this clip and try a new one. Anybody we can bring up from our farm system?
OT: Heard a little of BDC on JoeBeav today. Anyone hear the whole thing? Just wondering if it is worth listening to the podcast.

I would guess you’re taller than 5-8, and don’t call me “player.”
Interesting point on net neutrality that the ‘document’ was 330 pages, and nobody knows what the f is in that book.

Let’s be honest, is anyone surprised? : /
sigh
The eff seems optimistic, which is promising IMO.

Ladies will beat Cal
well, that’s gonna be up to the ladies. Men don’t play until tomorrow at noon
Yeah I thought it was today until I rechecked the schedule. Change “today” to “this weekend”.
It’s going to be a great February afternoon for baseball!
Any weather will work if they wise up and play like Pat coaches. Forecast of mid 50’s, sunny, and 14mph winds; lets play two!

OSU has an old guard of awful football fans who care about all the wrong things.
True dat. Makes me consider changing my screenname!!
NAH. I like it
most reside over at pure hate. They were all sorts of butthurt over this change
Friday at 5 pm beats the hell out of those Saturday 8 pm games. You’d think the geriatric crowd would be all over that.
The only thing I see wrong with it is that some people out there probably bought season tickets knowing they would be missing one game. I’m thinking those complaining have familial obligations. That being said, it frees up a whole Saturday in late summer for something else.
