Right now the lineup is struggling a bit because the young guys are having issues adjusting so far, they’ll pick it up though. It’s still early in the season, guys like Jake Rodriguez, Danny Hayes and Ryan Dunn will pick it up soon

I watched him closely “throwing down” to 2nd after the pitcher warmed up and thought “how will this guy throw anyone out?”…a little later in the game he gunned a guy out at 2nd via both a quick release and accuracy.

This brings up a good question: if a guy gets hit by a 3-2 pitch (it is clearly a ball), and therefore is it a walk or HBP? I guess HBP…but it’s really both.

Oregon State needs to find a way to beat Cal tonight. CR must step up his game as well. It will be nice if Jared can outshine Jorge and further his statistical gap over Guiterrez but most importantly the Beavers have to fight for the ‘W’.
