Since this isn’t a game to garner much interest, feel free to keep the DC talk up in this thread. After this game I’ll make a thread dedicated to that.  Sounds like there won’t be internal promotions, so scratch the Chad talk. I haven’t heard any intriguing names. Todd Orlando and Kevin Clune are names being thrown around. I’d be fine with either. Since GA is a defensive coach, I’m not too worried (except on the recruiting front) — he can always become more hands on in a pinch, and wait to see who is on the market next year. Recruiting is where this could hurt — they had that top 35 class I/we were expecting, and now it will be tough to hang on.

8pm. In Portland. Back to back nights. Odd part of the schedule here with back to back games Friday and Saturday and then Monday, too. Beavs have the depth now to get through a stretch like this, so I’m expecting 3 wins.

Games are on Pac-12 network.

Per all rumors.

So what now?

This could be a disaster for recruiting. Sitake was questionable as a DC, so I don’t care too much about that, but the lack of stability is a major problem.

I’ve been out of the loop the past few days, and I’m trying to catch up.

Just read this article. So do we know if Sitake was at the meeting or what happened? Need a follow up from Gina. The Navy guy is going to get the job, right?

Lady Beavs dismantled CSU Bakersfield today to move to 8-0.

Haven’t kept up right recruiting of late, so props to Beaverkman and Blazer on that. AB hit 3.7 million views this week. Keep sharing links to the site if you post a comment in the Oregonian so we get a constant influx of new blood. I get nothing out of this — it’s so our voice grows stronger when we need it (right now OSU is mostly in a good spot with all the major programs).

ESPN2 at 5pm.

I’m going with 78-58, Kansas. I don’t think the Beavs are mentally ready for this type of game yet, especially on the road. It could be worse than 20. Hope to be wrong.

The lady Beavs play at 2pm, so I’m starting the thread early and it can cover women and the men’s game. The ladies look to have a layup in Idaho.
