For years Angie wouldn’t let anyone with a Scout membership cross post info or even post a link to free articles on Scout. Now she’s working for Scout and trying to wrangle everyone over there, this despite her sources apparently drying up to the point she has little info not available on Twitter.
You know, I was a bit shocked and appalled at first, but then I realized this is so very BeaverBlitz. This is a site that banned me for saying the Beavers had undersized cornerbacks because being “negative” like that was bad for the delusional fan who was paying Angie money to hear everything was great.

Is the old Beaverblitz being demised? If you have a subscription there, won’t there be others in the forums or whatever? Is the issue that they don’t have someone doing any of the reporting?
I wouldn’t blame Machado for taking a new job, and certainly wouldn’t call her money hungry. I can’t imagine that is a very lucrative occupation.

Is it true that subscriptions on BeaverBlitz were to the Rivals network as a whole? I did the free BB trial a while back, and if I remember correctly, it did not give me access to other schools’ Rivals boards.

Caught a few episodes of Hard Knocks. They never focused on Mannion, but in the QB meeting scenes he looked tired. I read where he threw 3 TDS in one game, wondering if that is featured at all on the show.

Those of you buying into our 114th ranking out of 120 fbs teams are way off. Last year was pure dregs of Riley. This year look for a huge jump in performance. And conversely, look for Nebraska to accelerate an implosion. I’m surprised how time eluded all those previously of sound thought. The Riley stank wasn’t just gonna vanish overnight. Everything we predicted a year and half ago will come to fruition. Just takes more than year one.
I think Baldwin at OC was part of the problem last season too.
If OSU’s inexperienced O-line can protect new QB Garretson, I think the Beaver offense is going to be okay tonight (actually, more than okay). Togiai, STG, Villamin, Nall, and some of the other skill players on offense are talented. All Garretson has to do is manage the offense, get the ball in their hands, and avoid turnovers. I think Garretson can and will do that (if he gets decent protection and can avoid injury tonight).
As for the Beaver defense, who knows? It will be particularly interesting to see how the OSU D-line holds up in the trenches against a massive Minnesota O-line, especially as the game wears on. Andersen has been preaching physical and mental toughness since he arrived. Fingers crossed that the Beavs have improved in these areas in year 2 under Andersen — we’ll know in a few hours.
Latest Vegas lines favor Minnesota by almost two touchdowns. Nope — OSU shocks the football world and comes away with a big win tonight.

Yeah, his giant leap when he could’ve stayed home and stuffed their qb scramble on 3&9 while we had the lead 23-17. We would have held onto the lead and probably would have played different. But that’s a tough point to coach, I don’t want to see him standing in concrete going forward…

Looks like I’m a little late to this post, but just wanted to say, Angie hiding behind the whole “I couldn’t warn people of my move, due to contractual obligations” was bullshit. She was not bound by any terms which kept her from informing her users of the move to scout.
