This staff looks to be strong from a teaching fundamentals standpoint but any insight on the recruiting ability of these guys? Sure looks like the plan is to be a developmental program. Not saying it’s a bad thing but I hope they can win some recruiting battles against other have not programs.

Yup TE’s. blocking can be coached by JIM MICHALCZIK and MR can coach route running and catching the ball(makes sense with his pass happy teams without throwing the ball to TE’s all that much.
So essentially, Riley won’t be a recruiter on the road, and won’t be coaching a full time position group( and also won’t have to coach his group on run blocking?)

Has anybody revealed what he’s getting paid at OSU? How much of a salary relief are we giving Nebraska to have Mike do as little as possible?
It’s a double-edged sword. I’m glad to see he has authority over basically nothing, yet I am puzzled as to why he’s being kept on staff at all, but then it raises the monetary questions. Hopefully we’re not paying him anything. He’s worth less than that.

I’m kinda torn with it. The new DB coach has a legit resume. So I can see him supplanting Hall. At the same time Hall is a good coach and is now down the road and OSU is paying Simple Jack fuck knows how much money do fuck knows what.
Mikey is the clock management and TO coordinator. Secondary duties include connecting the slip n slides to the faucets and picking up the balloons at Party City.
