You now have the option to receive email notification when someone replies to your comment.
These features will be most useful in larger threads where comments can become easily overlooked or forgotten.
To subscribe to your comments, check the box that reads, " It is located under the submit button after you hit the reply button.
I suggest registering for the site if you haven't already since some features aren't available to anonymous commenters. It literally takes a minute, and you won't have to deal with any quirks. Make sure to use a real email address, obviously, or you will not receive email notifications.
If there are any issues or bugs let me know.
We can use the comments for general discussion, or the topic at hand.

Too bad their signal is so weak, very frustrating when trying to listen to night games in Central Oregon, even the local AM940 in Bend fades out with sundown.
Eggers is supposed to have connections to OSU (especially Riley) too bad the workload at the Trib seems to limit his columns. When he does have a current report he occasionally gets better quotes than some of the other scribes.

Ugh, I’ve got game 3 on Fox College Sports Pacific down here in Louisiana, but they’re not showing it til 7pm central… 5 pacific. :( Instead they’re showing a replay of UCLA / Washington when the game should be live. What the hell?
Anyone with Root Sports and a TV tuner card in their PC willing to stream the game live? I can get directions if anyone cares to try. Just need the StreamTorrent applications and Windows Media Encoder.

I am so pissed off at Buker. The dude deleted a comment I wrote that said we’d have better recruiting without Greg Newhouse. Their censorship is beginning to piss me off–this is the third comment I’ve had deleted in the past three weeks.
Angry: I just got an email from the system about this reply. I thought the checking the checkbox would only send me email updates if someone replied to my actual message, not just any comment to the full blog posting? I don’t feel like getting 90+ emails per game.
There are two boxes, one for only your replies, and the one (where you type your email) for all replies. Unsubscribe to the second one. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to remove the feature for further testing.
I’m only seeing one box, and the manage your subscriptions page only lists full blog posts, not individual sub-threads. Don’t see any option reduce the granularity.

No, but I think I unsubscribed from the whole thread… still don’t see a secondary checkbox to only subscribe to replies
I removed it…it’s buggy. Right now you should only be able to receive replies from your own posts. This will limit your email box from being flooded.
Personally, I set mine to be flooded with every response because I have an obligation to look through them all/make sure everything is kosher. The good is that I get to read everything. The bad is getting 60-200 emails can be a drag. Like I said, it has ups and downs. I’ll leave the option for you guys to only receive responses to your own posts. This is a good middle ground.
