UTEP used to be basketball crazy. I remember when they even sold out the CBI Tournament games against the Beavs. Was Don Haskins the coach back in Hardaway’s days?

I do hope Boise State runs the table, it’s the only chance the conference has of a playoff participant at this point. Pac-12 teams have not fared well in out of conference games with other G6 schools. And Fresno losing to Rice would just about seal it.
Beavs got caught up in how easy things were going early and eased up. Good response to the UTEP TD, and now the defense needs to find that killer instinct and put this game away. Offense needs to get the ball to Legree and everything else falls into place.

Roku cancellation is a little misleading bc there’s no obvious option to cancel a subscription. Instead, you go to your account,anage subscription, and then cancel automatic renewal for the subscription. It took a few minutes to navigate that process but got it done

Nearly everyone on the team has exceeded expectations. The coaches have made the biggest difference. Guys are completely bought in.
Other than the Boise St game, Beavs should be favored in the rest of the games. Will have tough road games but this team has shown, they show up.
“When you play three Power 4 schools… we’re going to play good teams in the Mountain West but it will be slower than what we’ve seen in these three games. But we have to play better ultimately.”
Speaking of “defensive pride”, who here can forget the 3-0 win over Pitt in the Sun Bowl? I believe we could have played 8 quarters against the Panthers and still shut them out!
Speaking of early line, notice odds on Beavs winning the PAC12 championship have drifted from +1500 to +1000 and now stand at +650. Vegas is noticing and now has Boise State as the only team more likely to win the PAC.
I won’t be surprised if the Beavers win in Boise…they need to improve, no doubt, but I like their motivation, expectations of self (e.g. Olsen comment about getting taken down by a single tackler being unacceptable), and staff’s abilities to improve them.
It was good to see them getting TFLs. They should have, but they actually did and that’s encouraging.

1-didn’t see much of Aiden Sullivan last night, eight Beavs had more tackle stats. Question is, did he play significantly less snaps than usual?
