Yeah, seems like a combination of higher-level coaching and some better players. They don’t look anything like some of Anderpants’s teams, which looked like they were playing in slow motion. I hope they can keep this game close.
When was the last time we had a 75+ yard passing touchdown? Im sure we had one in the smith coaching era but I can’t even remember. Texas tech is already taking collections to poach our QB.
We left two scores out on the field. The one that Atkinson over threw Legree wide open for a TD and then Hampton’s drop on the 1 yard line. Beavs should be up 21-14.

This is a competent coaching staff. No offense to Bray, who was a good DC and didn’t want to be a head coach, but this is markedly better. With more talent and depth, this team could be 2-0 after this game….
Well, sinc eit is on national feed, the announcers are already asking how Legree got out of Baltimore and why did everyone miss on him along the east coast. High praise for Atkinson too.
Perhaps both guys stay with Coach Shep and we get 3 years of this with them both? I’d take it.

The 2 worst calls of the game in the most important moments and both go against OSU…I thought it was PI on the Legree circus catch at the goal-line.

Beavs had their chances in the 4th quarter. Three drives once TT took the lead. bs penalty at the end hurts but they needed to come through earlier.
Have to keep this intensity up into the next game. Come out and absolutely hammer Montana. Only way to shake some of these feelings.
