Spring FB, WBB post season, and more chances for Baseball to grow

Plenty to discuss with news sure to come for 3 of the Beavs major athletic teams:

1) Baseball faces Mark Banker’s old school, Cal State Northridge, for a 4 game matchup at Goss starting Thursday. Looks to be a better test than the Bisons (maybe better weather, too).

2) WBB gets the first round bye and the return of Bat Woman…err Raegan. Get past Colorado or Oregon on Thursday and likely face Stanford in the semi Friday. What’s it gonna take to end up in the Portland regional for the big dance?

3) FOOTBALL is back. What will we learn about this team, about Bray’s approach, about the style of Heyward and DeVan? Which coach has the biggest challenge this time around? Why?

Have at it, guys. I’ll be gone for about 3 weeks on a bikepacking trip/vacation in Arizona. Baseball will be heating up in that time period, so might as well make this a baseball thread in addition to a general thread. I’ll be in Tuscan, so about 2.5hrs from the Beavs…probably won’t be able to make it, but I’m going to keep it in mind. Anyone going?

If anything interesting pops up, admins feel free to start a new thread, but short of that, old down the fort!

Bowl Game: Oregon State vs Notre Dame

The interesting things about this game will be watching new, younger players and coaches. I’m excited to see BG get a start, new coaches who hopefully understand 4th down better, etc.

Terrible start time. It’s in the 50s today and I want to get out on the bike. Gonna try to do both; we’ll see how this goes.

I think you have to like Notre Dame to win it given our situation. But it looks like they had a lot of key players opt out. Could be an ugly game.

34-24, someone? I’m going to go wild here and say BG plays with his hair on fire given he’s the player who got screwed the most.
