- I was a huge Gary Andersen fan. That cooled off quite a bit today. Gotta play the backup QB in this game and get them experience. Not only this, but he panicked and made several horrible coaching decisions.
- Onside kick when his team gained momentum.
- Punt fake on 4th and 2 inside the opponent’s 20.
- These two calls alone resulted in a 10 point swing.
- Did not give his backups valuable experience they will need down the road.
- Not overriding Sitake and that awful 4-2-5 that was leaving gaping holes early in the game.
- Slow to make personnel changes on defense, leaving Fred L at guard, etc.
- Seth Collins must be benched. I won’t be watching the Colorado game, or any other game, if Seth Collins is the QB. I said at the beginning of the year, this QB battle would take 6+ weeks to pan out. Here we are week 6, and it is very clear to me Collins is not a D1 QB. No other team in the conference offered him as a QB. He throws off his back foot, he runs in circles, he misses easy completions giving the WRs no opportunity for YAC, and he is now throwing interceptions (which I said, he was long overdue for and getting lucky early in the year).
- Seth Collins is dangerous — he might actually get a WR/RB seriously injured (concussions, spinal injury) or killed. It is irresponsible to play this guy. I don’t care if it’s McMaryion, Mitchell, or even VanderVeen. Someone else has to run this ship purely for safety reasons.
- This defense is awful, but in the second half when the personnel changed and Washington State gave up, they did look better, so I’d start those guys next week. I mean why not? Sure, most of that was WSU giving up, but those players were at least competing.
This team is very bad. I thought the coaching staff would be good for several wins, but now I don’t think that. These coaches…well, we are learning about them still, but I used to think extremely highly of GA. I thought he was a perfect coach, tbh. From what I saw today, they are flawed in that (a) they stick with ‘their guys’ too long but are willing to change out Riley’s guys, which is obviously going to lose the team because it’s favoritism (b) slow to make in-game changes (c) impatience/frustration that leads to hasty/risky coaching decisions (d) need to look in the mirror, because a lot of today came down to coaching (e) piss poor play calling, that GA delegates to Baldwin and then never overrides? Simply can’t have a QB running the ball 25 times.
Speaking of which, this is a FINESSE team. Holy crap, it might be the most finesse offense in all of NCAA sports. Even the two point conversion required some type of double pass, trick play. This is the anti Stanford, anti Michigan, etc. People say the Ducks are soft? No, this is soft. This is softer than Riley’s offense, if we are being honest.
Overall, this game went nothing like I envisioned. Boy was I wrong.
I’m not jumping ship on GA entirely, but I definitely need to reassess. He has some major flaws that are coming out as we go. Saying he takes accountability isn’t enough. It’s not that the Beavers lost, but how they lost, and how he managed the game and the personnel that I am so bearish on.
Just got back home from the Baylor-West Virginia game, and was only able to get occasional score updates for the Beavs. I see things were as bad as the 1st half score looked, and I’m kinda glad I had to miss watching this one. :/
Posted in the last thread, will post again here…
My guess…
The only way Seth the Grate becomes Seth the Great, or even Seth the Serviceable, is more snaps.
Seth sucks. We all agree. But if you’re going to commit to him, and GA obviously has, he needs to see the field more. More recognition of defenses. More coaching tips can follow when he’s been put into more situations. Nothing will accomplish more than reps.
Maybe that will help Seth’s passing. I remain skeptical he’ll ever be able to pass effectively.
Collins is a danger to his teammates, so that can’t be a viable excuse at this point. He has to get better on the practice squad and non-contact drills.
The drops people keep blaming on the WRs make a lot of sense to me, and I don’t blame them. If those are the balls he is throwing in practice, I’d be terrified to go catch one of his passes, too.
He’s sailing passes and throwing off his back foot. It almost looks like he’s scared to take an unprotected hit in the pocket. I don’t blame him, I would want to either, but he’s hang receivers out to dry. Maybe they need to start hitting him in practice, like high hits, knock him on his ass 40 times each practice and maybe he stops being scared, and starts stepping into throws. I don’t know I’m just spit-balling.
I think he’s just an awkward passer, but not good-awkward like Vince Young and all the awful passers/good runners of the past. Those guys didn’t run in circle and throw off their back foot playing school yard junk ball. They just had bad delivery and form. It’s easier to work with that than schoolyard mentality + all those technical flaws. I don’t think they can be coached out of him, and every game I watch that thought gets reinforced, because another week of coaching and reps have passed yet he’s worse than ever.
Vince Young didn’t see any action until about halfway though his redshirt freshman year… and he was a 5 star, #1 recruit in the nation prospect.
Expecting Collins to be good right away is unrealistic. He’s simply been deemed the least bad QB on the roster.
How many true freshman QBs come in and play well? Sure there was Jameis a few seasons ago, but you also saw him regress his second year as the talent around him dropped. The talent around whichever QB we put in there is putrid.
That’s bullshit. The talent is only as good as the QB. Nikegon’s talent is the same minus a QB, but they are suddenly crap?
It’s the QB. It’s always the QB. End. Fin. That is all.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, Jack, but I tend to agree. If the QB play was a high level right now, this team would have 3 or 4 wins. D would look a lot better b/c we wouldn’t be seeing so much of them, too.
It’s why I harp about Collins.
Jack is like that crazy ex. You honestly don’t know if they’re being serious and you should fear for your life or just blowing smoke up your ass and laughing it off
Or the words mean exactly what they say. Words can be funny that way.
GA has done a great job w the garbage Riley left. With mr we would be lucky to win any games. Respect the process and know in two years we will be back. Ps, have you seen Marcus mcmarrion play? Seth is 10x the qb he is!
I’m officially going on the record in this comment: If Seth Collins continues to play 4 years, players will wind up with concussions. It is possible a player will wind up paralyzed. I would not be surprised if it happens this year.
And yes, I have seen McMaryion throw 20 balls or so and have no idea what to make of him. Nor should you, unless you just hate him and/or love Collins and are being biased. We haven’t seen Mitchell throw 1 ball, yet there are conclusions about him, too.
Collins is a freshman, he will improve. I have seen both mcmarrion and Mitchell in the spring game and was not impressed. SC gives us the best chance to win. He is a little inaccurate now, but will get better. Take a deep breath and respect the process!
Your prediction is football players will end up with concussions? Wow that’s really going out on a limb….. Can’t wait to see if that ends up being true
LOL
Back? You’ve never been… Beav fans are hilarious. Continue to knock the coach that madd you at least respectable. You are dumb.
Dennis?
What’s your excuse? Poor genes? Meth habit? We’re just dying to know here
What does Erickson have to do with this conversation?
I believe it was the “coach the coach who madd (sic) us respectable.
Oregon State is best with this team running agressively north-south. Storm, Haskins, Brown and Nall like was working in the last half of the 3rd quarter. That makes opposing defenses worry and keeps it simple for our blocking schemes with team on the same page. Throw in a few passes off run success and that is probably the best this team can do. Seth can still keep a few times as well but the main weapon has to be real RBS as a unit gaining positive bursts at a time.
Yup they said all week they need to run more. I was thinking that meant handing the ball off. Not collins 10 in a row. I mean he did fine on a few but Nall was running people over on half of his touches, so was Haskins. Those 2 need 10-15 more touches a game.
they did. They ran it 45 times today. Now I will agree that Collins should not be running more than the RB’s. I think more of those runs were because Collins took off running after his first option was covered. Maybe he has no confidence in his O line to protect him (they do kinda suck after all)
I mean design runs. I think he at least ran 10-12 times out of the pocket today. I think they need to cut down a little on those designer collins runs. like the first series, he tucked it after the snap, 2 out of 3 plays and ran??? Keep the read option, cut the Collins specific runs, and hand the ball off to the brusiers. It seems like we are playing our hand way to early in the game. Using Collins later, when the defence is worn down and suckling wind, then let his gazelle ass lose.
gotcha. yeah, I can understand wanting to get him out in space. This is why I would agree he might be better suited as a WR as many others here have stated. Get him the ball in space. Maybe that is the plan down the road? IDK. All I know is right now, if Collins is your best option at QB then you don’t have one.
here’s how I see it after 6 games. Flame away
Offense:
We just don’t have anyone eligible that can move the offense effectively with the pass. Is Collins the best option? IDK, but we don’t get to see anything other than games and the last 20 minutes of practice. When it comes to running the ball the two staples of the read option offense are the read option and the bubble screen. Well, those two plays are not effective if………..read option, your O line continually fails at run blocking or the QB makes the wrong defensive read and either keeps it or hands it off when he shouldn’t. Bubble screen, if your receivers cannot block at the point of attack and the defender sheds said block it won’t be successful. Quite possibly as the coaches have stated, maybe some of these guys aren’t capable of doing those little things. Lord knows we didn’t ran the ball very well when Riley was here. Maybe because these O Line recruits can’t run block for shit? Maybe all they recruited were guys that could pass block? IDK, but as bad as the O line has been for the last few years it seems the only thing they are good at doing is holding and committing false starts. Some of it I will concede is on Baldwin for play calling. You have to call plays that you know your guys can be successful at running. Maybe they are in practice. Maybe what they are successful at running is very limited and hampers the effectiveness of the offense. We just don’t know because we don’t get to watch practice. Darrel Garretson is the answer at QB. But sadly he cannot play this year. Be patient
Defense – This is a 5 alarm dumpster fire. The first half was worse than awful. Over 300 yards and 6 touchdowns. Burn the tape, hold a seance, do whatever it takes to forget that shit. 2nd half was a little better. Tackling is all about effort. We did see a few nice tackles here and there. But we saw more whiffs and missed tackles than anything. If you don’t want to give the effort? There’s the bench. Or the door. I just don’t see much talent on the defensive side of the ball. This is NOT Sitake’s fault. It doesn’t matter what defense you run. 4-3, 3-4, 4-2-5. If you don’t have talent and have a bunch of FCS caliber players back there, you’re going to suck. Period. End of story. you can put guys in position to make tackles and in position to make plays. If they can’t make them, they aren’t D1 players.
Special Teams – Improved play today. 3 good plays, but 2 bad ones. The fake punt is on the coaching staff. I can understand the on side kick and after thinking about it I understand why and agree. The case? Kick off return for TD. your defense JUST got off the field after holding the Cougs to 3 off the FAILED fake punt. You’re down 24-10 and GA did not want to put the tired defense back on the field that quick.
Final thoughts, the 2nd half was better. Collins or whoever is back there needs to start going thru his progressions. I cannot count the number of times I saw Collins immediately lock onto his first receiver. Then if he wasn’t open, he took off running. Meanwhile somewhere else, someone IS open. Easier for me to type it than actually do it. Some of these players have not bought in. Others have but are not capable of doing what the coaching staff is asking them to do. This is the result of Riley’s low hanging fruit recruiting approach. The snowball effect is also causing the defense to look worse than mentioned 5 alarm dumpster fire. If the offense cannot effectively move the ball, the defense is on the field too much. One needs to look no further than 40 miles south to see this. Oregon was able to make up for a mediocre to shitty defense with an all world QB and great RB’s. Get up early put the other team in a panic and then they make mistakes. It’s not rocket surgery here. I’m curious to know what the time of possession looked like in the first half. Penalties. While still an issue, when you have been the most penalized team in the league for years, you don’t get the benefit of the doubt from officiating. Case in point? The hit on Bolden (nice to see him hang on to that catch as well after that hit). Coug player should have been flagged 15 yards for targeting and kicked out of the game. A beavs player does that and that is exactly what happens. One year does not change perspective. If I was GA I would have been all over the refs asses for that one and I would also probably be putting in a call to the league office wanting an explanation of why it wasn’t called. Also saw several penalties not called on the Cougs. Not sour grapes, it’s still a loss even if they are called but when holding isn’t called? A tired out defense has to stay on the field even longer.
That’s about all I got for war and peace. Feel free to add your thoughts or tell me I’m full of shit. The sky is not falling folks. Be patient. It will get better. It might not be this year. But it will.
My thoughts exactly. I feel like you nailed it. Only thing to add: (and I said this last week) going to take 4 or more years to care. I think we are 2 or more years from a bowl game. At this point if we see 30 players leave this offseason I would not be surprised. I think this is a wasted season for weeding out Biley. Next year will be about youth movement and finally starting a rebuild.
I expect to see results by year 3. This year is a mess and all I expect to see is improvement. I think we did see some today. Take away the first half dumpster fire by the defense
I wonder if the coaches have any faith in the RBs. I mean the some of the QB keeper runs Collins had, a RB could have made those too.
Collins had 23 carries. The rest of the team had 22.
I’m referring to the designed QB keepers not the read options.
that’s on Collins for not making the right read. No way should he have more carries than all of the RB’s combined. There were several of those read option plays Nall and Haskins took for 10+ yards in the 2nd half. IF one looks, one will see several successful read option plays the beavs ran today. MORE PLEASE
Because Collins is a glorified ball hog.
Seems Mullaney made a good move to transfer to Alabama. Better for his health and his playing career.
He learned from Riley: When the shit’s about to hit the fan, bail
wish some of the other Riley hold overs would have done the same
“piss poor play calling, that GA delegates to Baldwin and then never overrides?”
Angry, GA is NOT an offensive guy. He has said this from day 1 and stays out of the offensive side of things. It’s all Baldwin and to some extent McGiven I think.
Problem is Baldwin tries to many things haphazardly and therefore struggles to get the team in offensive rythym. Tries to get too cute at times and then for a new series goes with a whole new thought process to keep the opponent guessing but it usually has our team off balance too and struggling to execute it. Our defense needs the offense to sustain drives at all costs.
Baldwin is an average OC but if we are going to have success it is controlling what we can. More Haskins, Nall and Woods going straight at the defense hard in rotation. Some Seth keeps that are less frequent than our RBs and passes as the defense starts to get frustrated with frequent 5-8 yard bursts. OL is decent but is better when they have a good idea of what to expect and what their jobs are without wondering which way Seth is bouncing behind them.
But he can walk over to Baldwin and ask “Why 10 minutes into this game does our RB have zero carries?”
That doesn’t require being an offensive guy.
No but then he would be sticking his nose in the offensive play calling. Which as I already stated, he says he doesn’t do.
Let me ask you all ragging on Baldwin a question. Would you rather have Langsdorf back?
It a process. Staff has to create a culture of winning, and that means winning even when you lose. Compete every play, every down that will build a strong foundation.
Their play is uninspiring right now, but it is what happens in major rebuilds. See Cal (dykes first season 1-11) now fighting for first. Wazzu Leach’s first year was horrible, they are seeing the benefits now. It doesn’t happen everywhere, see Arizona schools Rich Rod and Graham. But they didn’t have as young of teams especially at QB.
Goff, Falk, Brink, and Liufau are examples of QB’s that started as freshmen and struggled mightly at times during their first seasons, but by their upperclass years started putting it together. That is part of the process.
Today the coaching staff try to take some more gambles, but they again didn’t pay off and it hurt them. But the effort is there, and they are trying to overcome their talent level, trying to give them some momentum.
I am not bailing on the staff. It sucks to go through it, but I think its part of the process. I will support them, go to the Colorado game, suck it up (could get ugly) and look for the improvement.
Maybe Grateson will be an improvement next season over Collins? Who knows? But if SC is the guy that is out playing the backups during the week, then let him play the whole game get some valuable experience in game play and leadership.
I don’t have a lot of hope for a guy that was a backup at utah state. We need a 4 star QB to be effective in this offense. A guy that can throw and run and more importantly know when to run. Until we get a guy like that we are in trouble. I won’t even mention what we need to get on D, would take too long.
Imo that 4* QB you refer to is going to need some 4* OL in front of him too.
The 4-star OL from BYU becomes eligible next year. And Issac is a 4-star.
Agree, man, that is spot on and a much more condensed version of what I wrote.
Do we regret giving up on David Moore?
Mariota was a 2star recruit who won the Heisman, and UO was basically his only offer. But I do share your thoughts on Garretson, however I havn’t seen him play.
Mariota was a 3 or 4 star
most had him as a 3 star. ESPN 2 star. I could not locate any recruiting site that had him as a 4 star. His only other D1 offer was Memphis.
Rivals had him as a 5.7 3-star. I think 5.8 bumps them to 4, so he was right on the cusp.
mariota has nothing to do with Collins, unfortunately.
No Mariota himself doesn’t. But referring to whether we need a 4* star QB to be successful. It does prove you don’t need an elite QB. Also, you don’t necessary have to have somebody with the vitals. Look at Manziel his size and speed were not exceptional, nor does he throw a perfect spiral. However, he had football smarts, and won the Heisman. So Moran might be able to be that type of guy, if the parts around him are playing at a high level.
I’m still happy with GA, we’re only six games in and he barely has any of his own players on the field.
My worries come with GA not being able to attract an actual D1 QB. If you’ve watched tape on Moran, he isn’t a D1 starter. Collins isn’t the answer, I never believed he was before the season, and I haven’t changed my opinion. Garrettson can only bail the Beavs out (and I believe he will) for a year, but after that GA needs a legitimate D1 QB.
Garretson will have two years to play two when he becomes eligible.
Too reactionary doom and gloom, angry. Things are bad, but not as horrible as it’s being made out.
Main thing I know is that we have a QB that currently cannot throw accurate balls (unless it’s to a WR about to get levelled) and that virtually guarantees failure in the Pac 12.
How is it doom and gloom? That is an accurate state of things. The coaches themselves took a major step backward today. To call it something else is inaccurate and apologist. Do I still like GA? Yes, but less. He is flawed and now they’re becoming obvious.
Quatre, agree Moran does not look like a good D1 QB, either. Garrettson looks like he can get the ball into the intermediate zone 10-15 years with accuracy, but beyond that he doesn’t even look good. I realize we don’t need a pro style QB who can throw every deep ball, but it would be nice to get a QB who can legitimately threaten the entire field. And by legit, I mean with a high degree of accuracy and completion %, where the D has to respect it and can’t just load the box. Teams are smartly loading the box and telling Collins to win the game with his arm, and he can’t.
A good question is why can’t GA and crew get a QB? I liked the guy from Utah who went to Wisconsin. He was good for this system, and I was very bummed when he went to Wisconsin because that was an obvious bad fit (where did he transfer to, btw?). I wish they’d find another guy like that. Someone with decent wheels but a better passing game.
Kafentzis ended up at Nevada. It seemed like he would have been pretty good here. It’s too bad that didn’t work out.
He also wanted a guarantee that he would be the starter if he came here. Allegedly
Which GA apparently gave to Collins…should have just given that to Kafentzis.
Obviously there wasn’t a guarantee that he would be the starter at Wisconsin
allegedly
I don’t necessarily disagree with leaving Collins in there. The coaching staff currently sees him as the starter and as the best QB on the roster. Maybe they are wrong, but given that they view him that way I think the correct decision is to leave him in there to get experience.
McMaryion and Mitchell just did not impress me in the off season, so even if they do get put in I don’t expect them to make the offense look better. They are only slight improvements in the pass game and massive downgrades as runners. Seriously, they aren’t really athletic enough to do more than pick up a few yards on a scramble.
Masoli and Roper ran Oregon’s offense. They were pretty much slow as whale shit. There are many option QBs who aren’t fast or athletic. I don’t think a QB has to be a GREAT runner, just okay. Garrettson is not a great runner, and he will likely be the QB next year. He’s not faster than MM or Mitchell from what I saw.
From what I know about this offense, it’s more about (a) knowing when to hand off vs keep (b) high completion % (c) getting the balls to playmakers in space.
Regarding A, if the QB makes the right read, there is space to run, even if he isn’t “fast”. Collins can’t even make the right read. Collins is getting a major pass just because of his speed, but speed does not = good QB. He fails the 3 major criteria.
Let’s forget MM and Mitchell for now and all agree they aren’t the answer. The question becomes who is? If it’s Collins for 4 years, then this is never going to correct.
I’m also worried about OSU liability issues, because Collins will get players hurt given that much time at the position.
This is what needs to happen:
–GA tells Mitchell and MM they won’t play and should transfer, if that’s the case. Free up two scholarships.
–Use those to go out and find a better QB, because Moran looks shaky (Unless the idea is to get all three Chandler players, then you accept Moran).
–Move Seth Collins to WR. Make him 3rd string/emergency QB.
This gives Garrettson two years to run the show, and whoever they sign this year to be ready. Collins can move to WR where he can utilize his only skill (running).
If I am GA, I am out on the recruiting trail finding a legit QB. I’d do this more than even prepare for CO or any other meaningless game this year. QB is such a disaster that it needs to be addressed more than anything.
If Collins is the best option this year, fine, but everyone needs to admit he’s not the long term answer and finding a QB is priority #1. GA needs to address it. Is Moran the guy? I’d like to hear opinions on it. I watched him play that good team from CA, and he was awful. He overthrew every pass and could not run. Apparently he has done well before and since then, but I find it hard to shake that he played so poorly vs the best team he faced. He also has a 4-star RB and 5-star WR on his team, so I think any numbers he puts up are skewed.
Regarding those alleged playmakers, if I’m GA I’m telling everyone the next person that catches a pass and runs backwards is going to buried so far down the depth chart he won’t ever see light of day here again
The rest of this season should be spent threatening players over every fuck up so they leave the program. Need more scholarships freed up. Lol.
This rebuild is going to take forever if there are only 11 seniors graduating, we have a crap QB, etc. Gotta get creative here and just ditch the dead weight to bring in better JCs, etc.
I’d like to see 10 more scholies freed up any way possible. Then sign a handful of JCs along with a legit QB (or two) and whatever else. The rebuild is going to take 4 years otherwise if we wait for all this low hanging fruit to graduate + guys signed this year and last year to fill into roles.
We also need to do better in recruiting if we want to turn this around. 11 out of 12 in pac isn’t taking us in right direction. Love the two 4 star DBs but we need a QB and line recruits on both sides. Mostly 2 and 3 stars isn’t gonna cut it in this league. It felt like 1996 today except I don’t have as much hair. Should have lined up in wishbone at least once.
Masloli was so fast he could rob you blind and be at Taylor’s for the night before you even noticed
Masoli was a good runner, certainly much more capable than Mitchell or McMaryion. He had 700 rushing yards and 10+ TDs each year he started. MM or NM would never do that.
Justin Roper certainly didn’t run as much as Masoli or Thomas and he barley played because he wasn’t that good. He ran the offense for a game or two, but he was never a long term player. Brady Leaf did the same, and was bad.
If you want to go with an only somewhat mobile passer you need to do something like what Baldwin did at CSU with Grayson. You need a scheme that’s less predicated on the QB run game.
Garrettson averages 0.2 and 0.6 yards per rush in his two years. He’s not a runner either. The offense changes when you have a guy that can’t run. He’s not really that great if you look at his stats.
Though I agree that they should go after a stud dual threat QB. That seems like a given. While I think Collins will get better with an offseason, I have no idea how much better and if you can bring in a talent then you do. Even Darron Thomas left Oregon early because Mariota was going to force him to the bench.
I think you overlook how Collins is a true freshman. Many QBs red shirt because they will be terrible their actually rookie year. Collins is basically learning the QB position on the fly in a Pac-12 schedule. Next year there should be a huge jump in his play, if there’s not then he should be replaced for sure.
Look how good Mariota was in his first year as a starter. If he was that good as a true freshman then they messed up because he was much better than Thomas.
But they still red shirted him and started Thomas. They didn’t think he’d be good enough to supplant Thomas his true freshman year. After he had the year off to get in physical shape, learn the offense, and probably improve as a passer he was ready to start and made Thomas leave early.
I agree that the staff needs to recruit some more QB talent. But we also need more talent in just about every position: LB, DB, OL, and WR. We could really use a playmaker, somebody who can either avoid tacklers or break tackles.
Regarding Mason he probably isn’t ready right now I will give you that. However, I am not going to rule him based on his HS tape and that he will not develop into an effective player. From what I hear he has a ton of upside on intangibles. He sounds super smart and a great leader. He was a backup his Junior season to a kid ASU signed, yet he was still a team captain. So he might provide the smarts to go through the progressions, decisions on the zone reads.
SC is a project. But he shouldn’t be the entire focus or blame either. The defense is just a liability right now. Special teams has been inconsistent. This is a major overhaul, QB is just one of those parts.
If you want to blame anyone, blame Riley and his cronies for shitty recruiting the last few years

Having your hip broken in the celebratory dog pile after scoring the game winning TD with :00 on the clock. Pure Michigan
If you watch the replay Butt tackled him into the endzone along with several Spartans. It looked like he rolled up funny when he went down. Still an incredible play. Congrats to him…besides that hip breaking part.
so you’re saying he got…………………….butt fucked?
Ba-dum…tiss
Uhhh hip hip hooray?
Oooooh, not bad, not bad at all.
Quacks lucky to have their mercenary midget QB back tonight
Not going to link it but dickhead Goe taking great joy in piling on Andersen and the Beavs again.
Fuck that asshole.
in the neck. with a pitchfork
So…stab him then?
not literally. But hey, if you want to stab him with his pencil? I won’t condone said behavior. But he’s a still a fucktard who should be stabbed with an internet pitchfork
Colorado beating Arizona. Didn’t think we would wind up the worst team in the conference, but we seem to be trending that way.
still well over a quarter for Colorado to fuck it up. But anyone that has watched can’t disagree that CU is getting better
After watching the Mets win and sitting on the loss for 3hrs, I still think this was by far the worst game GA coached at OSU. I still think Collins is an awful QB with no upside as a QB (upside as a WR), and OSU should make a QB change.
I’m bullish on GA long-term, but this is going to take longer than I thought, and he showed warts.
I probably won’t watch another Beav game unless there’s a QB change.
ummm, I beg to differ. Last week was worse
Wondering how many take the “Mullaney Route” = transfer out to a top school …
How many top schools would take our players?
the top FCS schools
Jim Harbaugh. Crazy bastard. lmao

I like this one, even more now that MSU won.
so should we start compiling a list of players we’d like to see transfer?
Yes.
It might be easier to compile a list of players we wouldn’t want to see transfer.
Ok, I’ll start.
Every returning starter on defense not named DeCoud, Strong or Mageo
I’ll give them DeCoud and Mageo. We keep Strong.
I would give up strong. Hard hitter but very inconsistent and at times whiffs on tackles that appear to be ones he is afraid of. I miss his brother but they aren’t the same caliber player.
Gotta keep the vitamin :)
I’m bearish on GA and staff too, but I’m willing to give him until the end of the year to reserve judgement. Honestly, I think they need and deserve more time to get their guys in.
After that, it’s defintely on the coaching if they can’t do it with their guys.
The play calling today was suspect, but I think they were looking for any edge they could get today. Something, anything to give the team a positive outlook.
I sense a lot of frustration all around–with the staff, the players and the fans. Especially between the players and staff.
But I think you have to ask how many legit D1 players we have on the roster right now. Collins is no doubt a project, but still may
be the best option we have TODAY. On offense, who else besides Nall, Villamin, Guyton, and Seumalo are legit D1 players? Defense–Strong,
Mageo, Peko, James, and maybe Noland-Lewis. Outside of those guys, who else do we have? Are any of the redshirts and frosh any better?
Youth is definitely a factor, but the coaches should be able to adjust to that to some extent.
If you ask me, I think the real problem is a lack of leaders, communication and fire. I don’t see any leaders on D like we have had in the past, and frankly the D is soft
all around. To me, the big gaps in the middle represent poor communication by the team. I’m starting to think Riley and Co. schemed around the lack of smarts on the team rather than lack of talent.
I’m of the opinion this year was lost anyways regardless of the coaching staff, so it is what it is. The real question is going to be what can be salvaged for the future.
TL;DR: Not enough talent, no leaders, poor communication, lots of frustration.
/rambling
Noland-Lewis? D1 one talent? That gave me a hearty chuckle. Thanks. He’s talented alright. Talented at the flailbacker position. Dude sucks and would not see the field at any other Pac-12 school
I qualified it with a ‘maybe.’ The dude has speed, but sucks when the coverage breaks down or has to cover deep. He CAN be good, but I get the sense that he needs more around him to look better.
You mentioned Peko, I thought that guy was supposed to be the second coming of Stephen Paea. I haven’t seen him do shit and Grimble also. Or am I taking crazy pills?
because opposing defenses can easily double team him since the rest of the D line players all suck
because opposing offenses can easily double team him since the rest of the D line players all suck
You double teamed my post
yeah I got too far ahead of mysefl and hit the go button too fast. I can’t seem to delete the first comment either
Yeah, shame on me for believing the hype (Riley and the media). Sad part is there was a lot of patty cake pass rushing going on today, they have dumbed down the defense so much it’s like pee-wee football “just tackle the kid with the ball”, instead of stunts and movment. Yeah there were blitzes, but they saw them coming a mile away. It seems the more the defense is dumbed down the worse they get.
Grimble hasn’t played for weeks, and nobody knows why, apparently.
He must be on the shit list.
Good, at least that’s a good reason why he’s not making tackles.
I’m not bearish on GA, but more like reassessing my extreme bullishness.
This is the thing: I agree he was punt faking and on side kicking to jump start things out of desperation, but to me that’s what a loser playing John Madden football does when he’s ticked off that he’s down by 40. A pro/college coach has to have more discipline than that and resist the temptation early in the game, pinned inside the 20 like that. It was awful. Baldwin called a pretty bad game. So, the problems here are how the Beavers are losing. If they are losing while improving, all is okay because you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. If they are moving in the wrong direction, like the past two weeks, and the coaches and frustrated/desperate to the point they’re making terrible decisions, then it all must be reassessed. I want to give GA three years. To get that, he has to make the right calls. Basic calls. There has to be improvement rather than seeing the team regress. They were actually playing better week 1-4 than week 5 and 6. Not good.
I agree, the play calling was too desperate today to be effective, and we should be seeing progress week-to-week. Given what we know, what kind of progress are you expecting to see? For me, I need to be seeing fewer three-and-outs, and longer sustained drives. The defense, being the weak link that it is, should be on the field less, but the offense isn’t doing them any favors either.
The coaches certainly have their work cut out for them.
Progress I expect to see:
-Few procedural penalties
-Make all the reasonable tackles
-Have a QB who can throw a 5 yard pass to a WR in stride, while stepping into the throw.
-Attitude improvement/intensity
-Special teams coverage has been very poor (I always thought Reed did a good job of this, if we’re being honest).
-A more coherent offense where the play call makes sense given the down and distance, rather than just playing junkyard ball.
I’d be happy with those for now and view them as a good foundation for sound play.
Tackling-Yeah, this is an issue. A really big issue. I think I’ve just be desensitized to this after having endured it for too many years now.
The procedural penalties are a killer, but this is where Baldwin needs to start playing to the strengths of the team given the problem of youth.
I’m less worried about ST given our deficiencies of offense and defense. For right now, we just need to clean up the miscues that happen on ST–such as, high snaps, etc.
Poor tackling was a killer today.
Do you think the first four games provided enough tape for the Pac12 coaches to understand what we were going to do scheme wise and what our personnel was capable of? Then take in account that the staff had to “dumb-down” the schemes so that the young and inexperienced kids could understand their assignments, the schemes became even more vanilla.
It really seem like we are trying to play with only a half deck.
I think it’s possible. We haven’t really changed our scheme much, other then how we run Collins (run up the middle, run to the outside, fake the hand-off and run, etc.). Other than that, we run fly sweeps, bubble screens, and the occasional ‘deep’ ball. What else have we changed?
If I’m an opposing defense, I focus on Villamin and the our RB. Outside of them, no one else is a true threat on offense. Makes the defense scheming easier.
they are on defense. Sitake has said he can’t dumb down the defensive sets anymore than he already has. He even went as far as yelling out the defensive calls in the 2nd half against UA not caring if the wildcats knew what OSU was going to do defensively to make sure the players were lined up correctly and in the right spots.

Angry: since there is so much discussion about the level of talent on the team, could you please do a refresher on talent projections when these guys were first recruited. Riley’s last few classes and Anderson’s this year. Both your rankings and consensus from the services. This would help inform the discussion about what guys need to sit, transfer, etc.
I’ll think about it, but right now I don’t want to do anything Beaver related if Seth Collins is the QB. This isn’t to whine or pout or anything, but I just cannot watch him play. This style of play…it drives me mad. So, by being disinterested and without watching the games, it will be hard to do that. I don’t plan to watch another game this year unless there’s a QB change.
I only have so much time in a day to do things, and I want to use them in a way that is enjoyable.
Doesn’t that make you a fair weather fan?
I don’t believe in all that. There are 24 hours in a day. I’m not going to waste 3 or 4 of them watching Seth Collins dance around in the pocket and then throw a bad pass. I don’t get any enjoyment from it, so why suffer?
I’m a great fan. I’m not a masochist and don’t believe in that.
I haven’t posted much on gameday because I haven’t watched the last two games other than catch a few highlights. GA picked a tough time to come into the league, the bottom feeders are getting better because they have upgraded the coaching and the upper level teams are still good enough to dominate this Beaver team. I’m not going to go out of my way to watch complete games because my kids are crazy busy with their own sports on Saturdays and I’m not going to even watch on the DVR if the games are not competitive.
And that is very smart use of time.
I went fishing for ling cod out of depoe bay yesterday. Checked the comments here and found no surprises.
Damn, that sounds good.
I watched Seth Collins run in circles, then regretted not going outside.
this is the equivalent of taking your ball and going home. You say its not a whine, but it is. get over it.
I’m not going to watch something I don’t enjoy. Get over it!
You are kinda talking like its Riley still here, and there is no future. We KNEW this season was going to be tough shit. It is. If you cant bear to watch, then DONT. But quit the whining. Comeon, Angry, yer better than that….
And if you cant bear to watch, imagine how GA feels …
I’m talking like a guy with other things to do, and he’s choosing to do those. The reason I bring it up is there will be less content here, so people should know why.
I think there’s a future under GA. If he can get the right QB. But I’m not going to waste 3hrs of my life watching Collins dance around and regress. If someone does, they probably have little going on or a streak of morbid curiosity/masochism that I don’t have. The people who sat 28 years through losing and watched it were the biggest masochists in history, imo, not “great fans”.
If the Beavers were improving each week I’d be watching. It’s not about bandwagon, it’s about the product captivating my time and attention or not.
Utah getting tested by ASSU. 18-14 debils early in the 4th
Looks like Astate is starting to implode.
Mild cats battle back in the 4th to beat the Buffs 38-31. Battle for the Pac-12 basement next Saturday night at Reser in the Pac-12 pillow fight of the week!
The 2016 class might be bigger than we thought due to all of the medical retirements this offseason, if STS keeps leading guys into widowmaker hits
I’m really only bearish on this season. Things can dramatically change from season to season so trying to read into next year is pointless. I don’t think they’ll lose recruits over wins/losses. It’ll certainly be used against them but we’ve all seen turnarounds at Cal, WSU, and UW. Those schools really sucked for a bit but were still able to pull in recruits to get them to where they are.
I’m considering this a lost season so I don’t drive myself nuts but it would be nice to see some growth throughout the season.
Nobody better than 3-2 in picks this week.
3-2 (WSU):
MeMyself&I (38-23); Whiskey (37-20); tie… Outcast (38-13) and Blazer (31-20); Jim (35-13); Zbeav (30-13)
3-2 (OSU):
angry, RanYakumo, Jack
2-3:
cj (WSU), AKBeaver, BlackBandits, Dwill03, orangejulius
1-4:
Mud&Sticks (WSU), Numbers, ObjCritic
fuck yeah bitches! I rule!
Petersen taking a page from Riles with poor clock management right now
That was bad. It is funny how the announcers praised Adams all night, and then when he throws an incompletion on 3rd and 7, they say it must be his calves. Lol
I’m suprised the announcers could talk with that much cock gobbling. “Oregon can compete for a pac north title”, umm no they won’t win another game til the CW.
no shit. Mariota Lite is no Mariota. They’ll lose a few more. But more importantly, who’s their QB next year? Plug and play my ass
He looked like the Fighting Irish mascot in that green uniform. Meriota lite…..Miniota more like it.
They’re an elite dynasty, just ask all the fans they had a month ago.
So the game is over. Washington has the ball with ~8:30 left and only gets 2 possessions due to milking the clock themselves. It was straight out of Riley’s playbook for sure.
Michigan punter is getting death threats and suggestions on how to suicide himself. Very cosmipolitan meechicken fans.
What a bunch of CORFing losers.
Michigan fans being low class? Color me shocked. SHOCKED I tell ya
http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2015/10/michigan_punter_blake_oneill_r.html
ya know we might call out players here for shitty play, but I don’t EVER recall anyone here issuing a death threat to a player or saying a player should kill himself. If that ever happened this turd stick would be all over you. If anyone here has, shame on you and you deserve to DIAF
It’s extreme. You have to be batshit crazy.
We’re just crazy.
Knuckle up
Does your mom know you’re still up?
What’s up punk? We played Arizona way more competitive so NOW WHUT??!??
so you go from ‘Cat fan to Coug fan to Buff fan. Dude you’re more of a loser than I thought. Get a life duck dick. How’s Mariota Lite and Walmart employment working out for you?
Dan hawkins is that you?
knuckle up? Is that how you rub one out in your mom’s basement?
yawn
Angry, saying Seth Collins is bad is one thing. You are right about that. Saying that the freshman excuse isn’t a viable one, well that’s just plain dumb. To expect a 2-3* QB prospect to walk into the Pac-12 (or any power 5 conference for that matter) as a true frosh and be successful is ridiculous. I guarantee the only players who have succeeded as true frosh at the QB position only did so because they were either a) once in a generation talents or b) had terrific talent surrounding them. And then your comment about him getting players paralyzed or KILLED??? Seriously what do you have against this kid? You’ve been WAYY too harsh on him from the jump. I mean sure, he’s not a good QB but chill the fuck out man. I get that after tough losses you like to throw your little temper tantrums (I.e. Shutting down the site multiple times) but you completly erode your previously good insights (calling that Collins would be bad) with these completely outrageous statements. Also you made a snarky little comment that people are drawing conclusions on MMM after seeing only 20 passes or so when it was YOU that declared him the starter BASED ON HIS HIGH SCHOOL FILM!!?!?!
Anyways that’s my rant. To get back on track, I am of the opinion that GA hasn’t “hitched his wagon” to Collins forever but is simply playing the best QB out of a group of atrocious options and I’m confident that the offense will take a pretty sizable step forward next year with Garrettson at the helm.
I don’t like the freshman excuse for several reasons.
1. Many freshman perform. It’s a sign of talented player, more than say, hurdles.
2. He’s not a true freshman in my eyes. 6 games into a career you are halfway to being a sophomore, in terms of football experience. This is why, at the beginning of the year, I said we had to give the QB at least 6 weeks.
—-
3. This wasn’t a tough loss. It was one of the easiest loses ever — over in the first quarter.
4. I don’t care about MM or any of that. You guys made the false assumption that me saying he should start (and he clearly should have) is tantamount to me saying he’d be good/great once he did start, which I never said. I said he was the best of the options. Even now people cling to Collins b/c he can run. Have fun. Dave Kingman could hit a ball 500ft, too.
I’m unsure why you, angry, think that Andersen going for a couple risky plays is enough to jump off the bandwagon. I know you think he should realize that Collins is going to kill or paralyze someone! You were right, Collins is bad, but so are the other options. What do you do in that situation? NM I know you put in anyone else, but you aren’t a D1 college coach with some success under his belt.
Yep, GA wants to win. He hates to lose. Those are good things. I can agree he is desperate. Desperate to figure out how to motivate this bunch of mostly mediocre players, not video game desperate. I don’t see the comparison, this is his livelihood. Not some frivolous way to pass away the days.
Maybe that is why he is trying to use trickery at inopportune times to give this pathetic team an advantage. Although I hated the calls in real time, in hindsight, it could be he’s trying to get his team to grow a pair. Throw them into the fire.
From kickoff, we never really had a prayer to win this game (against the Cougs!!!)
At least he’s engaged, coaching, and pissed off on the sideline.
No reason to jump off the GA bandwagon yet.
blah blah, sorry for the long post. Frustrating game for sure.
Basketball can’t come soon enough.
Agreed. I understand the premise with the onside kick after the KO return for TD. GA didn’t want to put a tired, under-performing defense back on the field that quick.
I’m not bothered much by either of the special teams miscues. GA took a chance, they failed, move on. I think if one or both had success we would be talking about how those were gutsy calls that payed off. Either one could have sparked a come back, who knows.
I also find it interesting that WSU claimed they took the foot off the gas. You don’t leave your starters in and back off, you run your second stringers and get guys playing time. The fact that their qb was doing up-downs on the sidelines after that last pick kind of shows that.
They weren’t gutsy calls they were stupid calls. At the time, and in retrospect, irregardless of outcome. If they converted it would be “Wth was GA thinking? But glad it worked out.” Which is not exactly saying it was a smart decision.
If we’re not going to be honest when these guys mess up, then what is the point of the site? It will be interesting to see if GA admits those were bad calls in the Monday press conference. I don’t think he did a post game presser, at least not one I saw or can find. He should admit it if he’s truly into taking accountability.
I say gutsy, only because he’s trying to do Something, anything to get this team going. If you want honest, the only way these kids are going to get motivated, is a spark, a big play, a turnover, a fake, an onside. It fucking sucks that that is what it takes, but sometimes you gotta eat that shit sandwich. And I’d rather eat a GA shit sandwich than a Riley/banker combo value shit sandwich.
I don’t have time to address all this, but I am jumping off the Collins bandwagon. As I said, I can’t watch him dance around anymore. It is a waste of time. I still like GA, but I am reassessing him. That doesn’t mean I am anti-GA or off the bandwagon. It just means he is not as great as I thought. I thought he was a flawless coach. The coaching yesterday was so bad that everyone being honest should reassess him.
LOL you were never on the Collins bandwagon
Should anyone be on it after the last two Saturdays?
I mean… that crap ain’t even holy crap.
I warmed up to him and thought his personality/moxie could be good for recruits.
Really? Nobody is flawless. That’s a high standard. GA is doing the best he can given the lowly circumstances he was left with. If you expected him to be flawless, you were wrong from the start.
I see this in GA and staff. Disagree if you wish or dislike.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfYhYft8dwI
Hey, this wasnt the old WSU that would cooug it. They just beat UO and it was expected they would whip us. Check back on the score predictions — about all of us expected to get whipped. This is a rebuilding year, and I can really buy that the Riley leftovers are not up to much.
BB and baseball are coming up….lets cut GA some slack…
O way O way OOO
You’re no match for Coloradoooooo
Awww, you somehow think Colorado is relevant. How cute.
Predicktion. One week from today your handle will be “Da Utes”
This may seem strange to many, but I’m thinking we may later look back on the second half of this dreadful game as the turning point for many of these players and the team as a whole.
We’ll see. WSU seemed to let off the gas on both sides of the ball…
It’s possible. Though, then what is the narrative: we do have talent? People need to decide if we have talent or not. What I see is mostly mental. There are some physical problems on the DL…
You are right, mental is key. Not often it happens, but teams can “play above their weight” when their heads are right and synergy emerges.
You have to take late 3rd quarters with a pretty big grain of salt when down 30. Cougs have much less incentive to keep the pedal to the metal. That’s what they call in life a balancing mechanism at work. They played well but in the 4th despite a few good plays there were just as many costly mistakes to limit the comeback and against largely backups for WSU. That to me shoes OSU is sporadic at best and that is what we have seen all year. OSU right now doesn’t do a good of stringing together multiple quarters of sound football. 10-12 good minutes has been about their max til they start slumping or dumping again.
Regarding losing to WSU: I picked the BEAVS but if I’m being honest with myself it was a complete homer pick. The pirate has had his system in place for what, going on year 4. He had all his players, and if you search the memory banks Leech has beat us out for many of the top recruits we had a chance at the last couple of years. We should have lost, I think it’s just how badly they played in the first half that left the sour taste in my mouth.
Issues for me:
1) not a huge Collins fan for all the reasons you’ve listed. Mostly I just want to see MM get at least a whole quarter to feel better about the decision. Maybe I’m too traditional but I really like my Qb to be able to throw the football
2) not really a fan of baldwins play calling thus far. No real rhythm, and I’m tired of watching Seth The Great on designed runs. Really frustrated that our RB’s are in the 5 yac average but we won’t hand the fucking ball off to them. Starting to feel Riley/langsdork’y.
3) on d: we’ve really sucked the last couple weeks which has caught me off guard. They’re in the right place most of the time which means I think the coaching is good, but they don’t execute/broken tackles so I think that is a talent issue. I’m cool with Sitake still.
Liked the onside call. The d hadn’t stopped them all game and was tired because of no rest from the kick return so why not. Doesn’t that fancy computer study that bilickeck and chip live by say take more onside kicks? The fake punt however was terrible. Inside your own 20 with 12 yards to go for the first? Anyone think the Aussie though he was on a rugby field for a second and just took off?
Please come in playing well from the start and try to impress all the recruits in town for Colorado!
Everyone loves onside kicks when they work.
Ken Goe taking a cheap shot at me in the Oregonian today. Comparing yesterday’s loss and overall performance to my teams.
Hey Kenny. I’ve got news for you!…. Not until we’re down by 30 at the start of the 3rd quarter, in front of an empty student section and 12,000 dwindling remaining fans, on a wet and windy night can you compare this team to one of mine!!
What a minute. That could happen this Saturday night… never mind. Sorry, carry on, love your work. JB
Another quick thought on the media. Someone in the Athletic Department should review the contract language regarding participation in “The Drive.” Either cancel further episodes to minimize exposure or insist on renaming it “The Dive.” JB
Bolden made the best passing play yesterday. Maybe he could take over as QB?
Too nice outdoors yesterday to bother with football. I’m not surprised at the score or the performance. I’m not sure the public, negative comments by the coaches is helping the players. Nothing one can do about the media.
Now that I’ve 100% condemned StB (Seth the Benchwarmer), he’ll probably do well next week and make me look stupid. I hope so.
But even if that happens, I think it will just be for a week or so. In a way Collins reminds me of Riley in that he will do just enough to make you think “maybe this guy IS the answer” just when you doubt him most. That’s when he will complete the 50 yard pass right on the money to oohs and aahs. I’ve learned to cut bait with these types, even in day to day life… to keep sanity. The one foot forward, two back type player/person should be avoided. This is my philosophy, might not be for all, and we’ll see how it pans out.
I don’t get off on condemning him. I want better QB play and think other guys should get a shot if 1A is sucking it up. This offense is dumbed down and he can’t run it. What is left to learn? This is what is fair to fans, the other players, seniors GA keeps saying he cares about, etc. GA is being stubborn. Give the other QBs a game each, or at least a half each. If the other QBs rot, put Collins back in for the rest of the year to groom him as the backup next year. I think it would be much easier to stomach Collins if (a) we saw the other QBs in meaningful time (b) they were bad and (c) we could then assume we were watching Collins being groomed as a backup.
That would be easy to stomach. Maybe GA should be forthright about what is going on. Maybe the media should ask these questions. It would probably help fans.
A lot of it depends on what kind of offense they want to run. Do they need a true dual threat QB?
The thing I can’t wrap my head around is that Garretson is supposedly next year’s savior, but we’ve seen his highlights and he’s not much of a runner with a pretty nice, not great, arm.
Didn’t GA jettison a pile of guys this last spring because they had decent to nice arms but they weren’t much for running?
And now StM is the man because he’s fast even though he has maybe 3 sure passes in his quiver? One of which is obviously not a screen pass, the staple of the offense they’re trying to install?
I don’t really have a point I’m trying to specifically make with this. Just talking out loud to see if I’m taking crazy pills here.
I think Garrettson is like a Garrett Grayson, and that’s not just because they have similar names and Baldwin ties. He seems like that type of QB who can make all the basic throws and is heady. I think this offense requires that more than pure wheels, contrary to the misconception.
No one is saying “pure wheels” is all you need. Nice straw man.
There’s a reason Chuckie Keeton started over Garrettson though. And it’s because the threat of the QB run brings an entirely new element to a read option spread.
As angry points out, this offense requires more than pure wheels. GA has repeatedly mentioned that he wants good decision making from a QB and has pointed out some of StB’s shortcomings in that area. That is GA speaking, and Baldwin must hear it; I find it hard to believe that Baldwin is simply blowing off GA…..and that GA is accepting it! So the excuse that Baldwin controls the O doesn’t fly with me wrt the QB situation. (sure, the nut-n-bolts, play calling is controlled by Baldwin)
So, why doesn’t GA give the other two anything close to a reasonable shot? Some possibilities: he doesn’t think they have any/enough upside in smarts and passing ability to outweigh StB’s wheels; contrary to what I thought early on Seth has the respect and support of some portion of the team (see quotes by Storm); if there are divisions then GA has concluded that the supporters of Seth are more numerous or valuable than the naysayers.
I do think a lot of what is going on is laying the groundwork for “decisions to be made” by marginal players. As much as GA wants victories, I’ll bet he has identified several players who he hopes to nudge towards a decision to leave the team.
EDIT: Just read the Crowton news….maybe Baldwin was blowing off GA’s desire for a QB with football smarts??
Gina reporting Gary Crowton longtime Offensive Coordinator most recently with BYU has been signed on as an Offensive Consultant.
Beavs bring on former Duck OC, Gary Crowton, as an assistant. Really desperate to get this offense going.
I like how everybody focuses on Sucks. He was there for one season, and they ran him out of town. He also was OC for LSU for 3 or 4 seasons and won the Natty. He has been with BYU for multiple seasons as well. But YES he did coach the Sucks once. #ItsAllaboutThem
You aren’t aiming at Gina, are you? I found her report pretty well balanced.
Nope not at Gina, people on here seem too obsessed with the team to the South. It gets old, but I am just grumpy today. I would prefer to just ignore them at all times that would be the biggest sign of disrespect. #NowI’mDone
Gotcha, full agreement here.
It’s a warranted comment since he’s a local connection if he was only there for a year.
So i watched the game with a wsu buddy. He said thats how the cougs were and it was going to take a couple of seasons to get things going. I think we will see big improvements between now and next year.
Maybe shouldn’t of backed off davy moore?
