    • I hate saying this but I think Beavs come to life again this week. Something in the realm of 42-17. That’s my hope/guess. I would not bet on this game at all though

  1. Stanford has lost 4 straight since beating UO.

Stanford = Worst run defense, worst total defense, and points allowed in PAC.

    Freshman QB.

So why am I nervous about Beavers?

Anyone heard any practice reports from this week? I hope Bray is smarter than Tisebar.

  2. I don’t want to see any passes the first series. Ground and pound, long 5+ minute drives. Sprinkle in a couple sweeps. Completely control the clock and kill any momentum that can be gained from Stanford.

    Beavs 34-17

  3. Beavs 24-20. Like Mexi said above, we better not see any passes the first drive. We are in trouble if the first possession is pass heavy.

  4. Lowe has improved his vision/instincts a lot throughout the season. Maybe just calming down the nerves and finding confidence after not playing RB at Washington?

  5. Don’t understand the lack of touches for Baylor. Your best back and he doesn’t get a touch near the goal line. Also, third down play near midfield you have two WR and one Db at the top. Audible to a quick WR screen and let Bradford get easy yards. Sometimes I think lindgren forces plays. Take what the d gives you.

Love the pressure by bray. Don’t give the freshman time to think. Show that same look and drop back. Should get a pick or two.

  6. I don’t have a huge issue going for the FG there, but it felt like it came as a result of overthinking his gut instinct to punt. I have more issue with the change of mind to the more risky play…

  7. 1
    1

What are we doing? It’s like when we cross midfield Smith automatically rules out a punt. And then when we finally do it it’s a pooch punt? Use your PUNTER. Brain dead coaching mistakes.

  8. Not impressed with our offense… isn’t Stanford missing a lot of their defensive players and aren’t they the worst running defense in the PAC-12?

  9. Second half adjustments. Run the ball and then again and again. Third and long? Run the ball!

Also keep playing press coverage. Stanford QB isn’t reading that guys are open bc the CBs are nearby but a good throw beats the coverage.

  10. Nigel Burton says Nolan is dealing(?), needs to throw downfield, keep his eyes downfield…Aliotti says the Beavers need to run more efficiently.

    • How many long downfield passes has Nolan completed this year Nigel?

Notice Stanford is only putting a safety over 10 yards beyond the LOS?

No defense respects the Beavs downfield passing game. They have no reason to.

    • I’m not impressed with Burton’s knowledge or lack thereof. Sometimes the crap he comes up with is like he’s watching a different game.

  11. Stanford has not really stopped us yet. If you execute your run game minus holding penalties you get bowl eligible. That’s all that matters. Don’t OVERTHINK it. Looking at you Lindgren.

  12. Beavs need to run it down Tree’s throat on this first drive, show they’re not fucking around, and go up 21-0. That would show me a sense of urgency has gotten through to the team.

  13. Third scratch ticket, should have paid off, right?
Likely would have if a simple dive, QB sneak, or Colletto was called.
Get used to it, Bray, field position not in JS vocabulary.

    • Wright just saved Smith’s a$$ with that pick. If you’re going to go for it on 4th and a half yard, run crazy freaking legs. I think the beavers should have punted regardless. Smith is a fucking moron.

  14. Refs still didn’t get it right after review. Ball should have been at the 34-1/2 yd line.

Stupid play call there. Bring in Colletto or punt it away.

  15. What in the actual fuck was that play call? Somebody take away Smith’s playstation. That call works in NCAA Football 14, not in real life.

    • That ball was so far behind the WR…he didn’t even try to make a play on it or come back to it.

At least OSU beat a FR QB for a change. I saw a graphic that said he hadn’t started a game since his Jr year of high school.

  16. I wonder if JS/Bray had some professional disagreement with Tibs about sticking with the 3-4. If Bray gets the nod it’ll be interesting to see if he makes a shift back to a 4-3 scheme or incorporates it more frequently.

  17. Wright has been pretty awful tackling tonight. A few led to some first downs and now the TD. Dropped 5hst 2nd pick. He needs to stay another year.

  18. 3
    1

Seems like JS has 3-4 clear mistakes each game.
Not challenging the foot out of bounds on the last td drive is strange.
Another 4th down debacle deep in your own territory,
no backup qb for a blow-out
55 yd fg attempt when field position is best strategy at that point

He will create his own win cap if he doesn’t learn form these things that are fairly easy to see.

  19. Questions from someone who couldn’t watch the game.

    1) 230 yards on offense from Stanford – was the defense better or was Stanford terrible?
    2) did we run a different scheme aside from 3-4?
    3) were personnel decisions better?
    4) did Lindgren continue going pass happy?
    5) how was Nolan?
    6) impressions of Bray’s performance?

    • !) Stanford was horrible, Beavs get 3 turnovers
      2) some 4-3 mixed in agaisnt option plays
      3) Gould was starting, no Vidlak once the game was decided though, otherwise a lot of wr groups and oline is depleted by some injuries so new faces there
      4) yes, but good Nolan arrived and Stanford couldn’t get pressure like we have seen recently,
      5) Nolan missed on 3 wide open deep shots again, ran well in designed runs or scrambles
      6) Defense responds to him and a lot more blitzing in 1st half on 3rd downs, but against and inexperienced freshman qb (should have been the plan against Colorado last week)

      • Relieved that they finally got the sixth win, but I’m not sure this performance will come close to getting it done against the Devils and Quacks. O-line is stagnating, Nolan will need to hit the long opportunities and the defense needs to tackle better.

        • I AM sure this performance WON’T get it done vs Devils and Quacks.
Is the O-line really so dependent on only the season starting 5 that it cannot block the rush effectively? …particularly the fly sweep or other plays where pulling linemen are needed?

      • Thanks for the reply! Sounds like they did what they needed to against a weaker opponent. We’ll see if we can break past .500 on the year and if Bray can lead our defense to the promised land.

    • Defense played up on the receivers. Ran blitzes. Stanford had some injuries but defense definitely played much better. Nolan was very efficient and spread the ball around. This seemed like the team from early in the year, not the team from last 4 weeks.

      • I think what furthers the psychosis is that Smith doesn’t even go with his best play. If you insist on gambling at least get the odds closer to breaking even against the house. I’m pretty sure Colletto has been stopped on 4th down one time in his career. QB run gives you an extra blocker anyway.

          • With Colleto, his odds are probably 75% to make the first down. We have seen all hear any other play is maybe 35% odds at best. And that would probably be a Nolan sneak as an extremely distant 2nd best option after a Colletto jackhammer play.

          • It might be even higher than that. As I mentioned, I think Colletto has failed one time and they’ve probably run that play more than four times with him on 4th down.

          • Yeah, being a bit conservative with 75% for Colletto, but the deeper you are in your own territory, the more the defense is amped to stop you for a huge momentum swing. I tweeted live before the call, I was OK with going for it ONLY if Colletto got the ball. He has been over double the odds of any other play all year long. Extra blocker and he finds any space and goes with strength. Any other play and it is much more likely to be stopped in the backfield. Yet Langsdorf will do that to ‘surprise’ the opponent. In reality it just delights them as the Colletto package is one they know they have a terrible time trying to stop.

      • I understand how you feel Angry because its as if he has to do it no matter what. Frustrating as hell. That being said Overman whiffed on the kickout block.

  20. It’s nice to end another losing streak to a conference foe , and finally become bowl eligible. But this team hasn’t gotten better over the course of the season. They just played a terrible Stanford team.

Poor tackling still, O line regressing, odd use of Baylor, Scratch Ticket Smith is here to stay.

  21. Not a perfect game, but competent. Nolan had his best game since USC. The defense actually performed.
These things alone would have won the last two games, against inferior competition.

  22. I was watching the Baylor/Oklahoma game earlier and I think Aranda must be a defensive genius to get Baylor dbs to sell out and drive through blocks to make one on one tackles the whole game. Okla had no answer to an aggressive attacking defense with a stout line and great tackling dbs.

This is the end game for Bray and the next step for Beaver football. Build up the line to hold inside against the run, collapse the pocket and develop sure tacklers on the perimeter.

  23. Some stats, consider the opponent:
Bray’s D held tree to 4 of 11 third down attempts
    Beavs TOP nearly 37 minutes
Beavs rushing avg fell to 4.3., 3.5 for BJ
    Nolan 19 of 25 tonight
51 rushes vs 25 pass attempts

  24. I think it was smart not to play Vidlak. He has played in one game already, which means he can play in only three more games and maintain his redshirt.

By not playing tonight, he can play in both remaining games in addition to the ball game and still keep his red shirt. If something happens to Nolan, we may need him based on what we seen from Noyer and Gebbia still on the mend.

  25. 14

Slightly better in game management from JS and this team is 7-3 or 8-2 conservatively. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but this could have been a very special season. Maybe even a Rose Bowl.

But I am extremely grateful JS took the program from a dumpster fire to being able to win every game. Also proud of the team and its players.

It just could have been so much better. What a weird feeling.

    • Yeah, I feel like we should be celebrating (and I am to some degree), but this team was primed to achieve much more. I’m more relieved than giddy because I was seriously wondering if this team would lose out.

      • Feel the same. Looking across the college football landscape, so many teams are inconsistent. You wonder how Utah barely beats Arizona today. Maybe the Beavs need to get that psychologist guy the baseball program used and have smith work with him on taps, breathing, etc.

  26. Still catching up but through 3 the blitz scheme is much better. Sending 5-6 very often and confusing coverages where the EDGE guys drop into a zone.

I like what Bray is up to so far.

      • I saw they were projected got the holiday bowl but I can’t remember against who. The sun bowl and Texas El Crapo sucks. I recall one year the beavs played Pitt and won 3-0 bc the wind was blowing so hard you couldn’t pass or even punt. If they get stuck in the Sun Bowl, that would suck ass,

          • Yet looking at their record this year they really don’t have an impressive resume, they do have plenty of recent success though, been there done that, maybe they’d overlook the beavs?

  27. 3

De Laura tries to do the stupid goal-line extension thing and fumbles through the end zone for a touchback and had just completed a 70-yard pass to Calvin Jackson.

  28. Season Stats worth a mention
    – Baylor over 1000 yards
    – Bradford over 500 yards
    – Nolan over 2000 yards
    – Roberts over 100 tackles
    – 15 forced turnovers

  29. Stanford looked pretty beaten when the game started. Not much life in them due to who their QB was.

Defense did look better in that they didn’t let the QBs get into any kind of rhythm. Bray did have the corners press much more than before. Not sure how much credit to give him. Defense got no sacks. Picks were much more a result of poor throws than defense hurrying the throw or the corner outplaying the wr.

JS smelled blood early and went for it on 4th. Don’t think it would have cost the game but it wasn’t a good move. A better team would have taken all the momentum and rolled over the beavs.

Next week will be a great test. ASU escaped with a win tonight. They’ll have the make the long trip back next week. A small advantage.

  30. Agree with some commenters that the issue was less going for it on 4th and 1, and more the play call. Even if you’re not going to run it with Colletto, how is he not even on the field? You have to at least fake it to him right?

We’ve had some really boneheaded play calls on these risky 4th and shorts. Colletto has been extremely effective. I think you either run him or fake running him in every one of those situations- anything else is way overthinking it.

Saw in OregonLive that everyone was picking the Ducks pretty handily which I thought was strange. Also saw that in the last 6 years, WSU has beaten the Ducks 4 times, with the ducks having won the last two games. Hoping WSU pulls out a victory tonight.

  31. Cougs have come back to tie the Quacks at halftime 14-14. They look like the better team, but there is always the “Coug it” history.

    • It’s an interesting call. I guess it depends on what feedback he gets from the NFL. He hasn’t had much wear and tear being a reserve for so many years. That might be an NFL positive or he needs another year to prove himself?

      • While I certainly hope he’s successful at the next level, I don’t think he has special speed. He clearly doesn’t have special size, and he doesn’t catch a lot of passes (because they’re not thrown to him). I think he should return, maximize his college career and education.

        • Good college back, not sure he has pro size/speed

Thinking of the better backs of the past few years…Nall, backup, Quizz, played a few years, Jefferson, rookie, Ward, short career

    • Yes unless he has his degree and just wants to move on.

Not much pro prospects. He’d get training camp invites but wouldn’t get drafted. If the pros are a goal, he’d need another year.

  32. UCLA did what the Beavs should have done to CU last week and rolled them in the second half. Chip is bowl eligible and it might save his job.

        2

Running the football? Yeah, it’s not even close. They have a 230 QB who runs like a RB and a guy who requires at least 2 defenders to bring down (Dye).

OSU’s best chance at this point to beat Hole is to play 46 defense and force Brown to throw the ball 40+ times. Otherwise they’ll grind us to a pulp. They’re simply more physical than us. We also can’t tackle worth shit.

        • Luckily they have crystobal as their coach. They’ve had an advantage over the Beavs and barely beat them two years ago and lost last year. Smith coaches well against him. With the talent difference, that is where smiths gambling ways can pay off. Yesterday was just dumb though.

  33. 2
    2

Cougars are cougin’ it. Surprisingly porous defense in the second half, down 31-17 with 5 minutes left. Looks like the Beavs may get a chance to kill the Quacks dreams, but we will need to root for Utah.

  34. CBS sports Harry Palm has the Beavs vs Boston College in Hell Paso.

Blech. To the opponent and game.

But, when you haven’t been to a bowl game in 8 years I guess we fans shouldn’t be too picky….

  35. Good news is Utah will still be motivated by winning the South. Bad news is ASU will be, too. Pretty fun last two weeks in the conference with the top 4 teams all playing each other.

    • Utah doesn’t even have to beat Oregon to win the south. Only have to beat Colorado the following week. Pretty unlikely ASSU wins the south no matter what they do these last 2 games.

A Utah/Oregon rematch for the PAC-12 title game is pretty likely……

And as bizarre as it sounds? If Oregon wins out and gets to the CFP? A 5 loss Utah team would get in the Rose Bowl.

Unreal Luck o the beavs. Why can’t it ever be us???

  36. The path is narrow and I think there’s only one to get the pac12 title game.

    OSU must win out.
    Oregon must lose out
    WSU must lose one game.

Seems very unlikely but the pac12 is known to screw itself so maybe not so unlikely.

I do think Utah beats Oregon because it’s in SLC.

WSU has a favorable schedule is facing Arizona and UW to end the year.

Beavs are 50/50 in the ASU game. Depends on which Jayden Daniels shows up. Seems to be regressing in the last few games. But he’ll get a very shaky OSU defense to rebound against.

    • Sounds like November with Riley. I’m happy with a bowl with 2 games left to play. The future looks far brighter than the past.

  37. 12

I see a lot of comments that this win didn’t mean as much for the defense because Stanford is bad and they had a freshman QB. Colorado was bad and has the worst QB/offense in the conference and still managed to beat up on Timmy’s defense. A win is a win.

    • Just the scheme change was a win. Blitz and creative zone coverages had them confused and panicked all night. We don’t even really have a good blitz but it’s disruptive enough

        • The lack of sideline to sideline speed with linebackers has been more noticeable this season, not sure why. Maybe with Hamilcar leaving it’s more noticeable? Did Gumbs have speed? Does Colletto have speed? He’s getting less and less snaps on defense.

  38. 4
    3

Bray made a difference. Period. JS almost cost us again. May have been his dumbest decision yet and that’s saying something. Nolan looked good. To beat ASU, we need to create TOs and Nolan has to play well again.

      • 1
        1

See way above for numerous comments. Smith went for it on 4th and 1 from his own 30’s. Straight hand-off from Nolan to Fenwick blown up in the backfield. Gave Stanford a little life, but their QB threw a pick so no damage was ultimately done.

        • Wtf is with all of these attempts on our own end of the field? And have any been successful attempts this year? I can think of 3 now that have all failed. And a couple immediately led to the opponent getting an easy score.
If this is the result of analytics, he needs to get better stats to analyze.

      • Went for it on 4th and 1 from his own 35 or 34 yardline with a play that did not involve a Colletto jackhammer run. Handed off to a running back and got stuffed. Took a game that we only had a 10% chance of losing at that point and instantly raised that three-fold to 30%. Only Wright’s interception (he also missed some tackles) prevented Stanford from scoring points and we went on to score on the next drive and take our odds of winning back to over 90%.

    OT: WBB
I’ve been a fan of Scott Rueck since the beginning, don’t believe he has ever been as confident in his team as he seems to be right now. Almost scary.
    Any thoughts??

    • I think it is way too early to predict what the ceiling for this team is. However, their length is going to give teams fits trying to score in the paint. This team isn’t overly athletic IMO and I don’t know that they have a consistent 3-pt shooter like Aleah or even Kat Tudor but they have several players that can hit the three. I think their strength will be defense and they could go with a high-low post game on offense with TJ and JM interchangeable at.thosr spots. One of Rueck’s teams’ bugaboos has always been ball security so we will see how that plays out in the season…i still think they finish somewhere between 3-5 in the conference bc the conference is so damned strong. I think they have the potential to be a Final Four team in 2-3 years.

      • Was a little disappointed in your 3-5 finish in the PAC12, then I saw that BetMGM has our gals 9th! Ahead of only Utah, Wash, and Cal.

        +3300 odds, if you’re interested.

        • MGM at 9th? I think I would take those odds. 3-5 is based on so many new faces on this team and playing in the toughest conference in the country. If we still had Goforth, I would say 2-3 but with nre FR guards AJMarotte and Greta K., that’s asking a lot. Codding and Adams give them some experience so we will are how this team develops. I have season tix so I’ll be able to see first hand what this team looks like. They could surprise and finish third but too soon to say. If we were a little more athletic, ID Neva little more optimistic..

        • I’ll be driving to spirit mtn tomorrow to drop $300 on the beavers finishing higher than 9th. I don’t know what MGM is doing, but I like +3300 odds and I don’t even gble but this is so good I can’t pads it up. And you do have to place the bet in person at the casino.

          • To be clear, the bet is to take the PAC12 Championship, finishing 2nd or below doesn’t pay a thing.
Still, surprising to me that only three teams have less chance of becoming Champ (in the eyes of the book).
            It’s a real longshot.

Also, those odds are from the BetMGM website, I’ve found that the BetMGM operation at Spirit Mtn doesn’t always offer every bet found on the website.

        • Check that as I’m going to drop between $500-750…if beavers finish 8th, my payoff would be $25.5k. I still can’t believe I can get +3300 odds on fthe beavs WBB finishing less than 8th place in the conference if I’m understanding how the odds work. Am I correct in the payout on the +3300?

Jimmy Lake out at UW. Smith have any interest in offering him Co-DV with Bray? I would give Bray final play calling say. Not the worst offer for Lake. He may get a better one but not that many. Have to assume his recruiting ties in the West and NW is among his top few strengths besides his ability to coach a good secondary/defense.

  41. 13

Went to the game yesterday and thought I’d share some thoughts.
End zone seats suck, can’t tell the difference between a 2 yard and 7 yard run. We were constantly turning back to watch the play on the jumbo tron. (My wifes fault, but dont tell here that, I like to get laid)
Avery Roberts is one hell of a stand up man. He stood on the field for I don’t know how long, gladly taking pictures with every kid, signing autographs, and interacting with the fans. I love him as a football player, and even more as a great man. Someone raised him right.
I should also note there were other players just as generous, patient, and welcoming to all the kids, Stover, Baylor, Eldridge, Munyagi, etc… They deserve praise too.
    On to the game.
We went to an almost 4 safety defense alot. Nobody here has mentioned it yet, but it was almost as if the d wasn’t scared of the passing game. And it always worked. I think they had Olidapo, Austin, Grant, and someone else in. Jones and Wright would leave the field.
Offensively the Oline didn’t make big holes (only advantage of my terrible seats) Also, #27 Munyagi played alot at WR. Dudes big, blocks well, and seems to be 100% under the radar.
The atmosphere was nice, and most importantly, all 3 kids had a blast! Hats off to OSU as a program for free face painting, over priced dipping dots, and plenty of opportunities to spend my money.

    • I’d like to also add, as a former player, rosters lie. I’m a legit 6′ 205 lbs. Straight up dad bod. If Avery Roberts is 6’1″ 234 pounds, I’m 6’4″ 195 pounds. Him and Hughes-Murray are definitely specimens, but there’s some exaggerating going on. Stover is big, and McCartan is bigger even though he didn’t have his pads on. Gebbia was padded up, running around with kids playing catch, definitely not 6’2″. Simon Sandberg is listed at 6’3″ 293lbs. My guess is 5’11” and maybe 275 pounds.
Just interesting to me, you see recruiting profiles that very so much in height and weight, then see them in person. Some are clearly every bit of what it says they are, and some, not so much.

    • Aikili Arnold was the 4th. He had a very good game.

Avery is also always there to help his team mates and even adversaries up after a play if he isn’t on the ground himself. Good dude

  42. Anyone else notice the dozens of examples of recruits who thank “Oregon state” for the offer? To me this almost seems disrespectful of Oregon State. The State part Is what make us different than Oregon and state seems to minimize us and make the player seem like they want to be a Duck or something. Literally 80% of our recruits do this. Is more common than not. What gives?

Blessed to receive my 3rd offer from the university of Oregon state. Go beavers!!!! @Coach_Steward @BeaverFootball https://t.co/Sia4uPsfcw

    • Oregon is probably just auto capitalized cause it’s a well known proper noun. State is not. It’s just over reliance on technology to make a message on Twitter cause they are children….on Twitter

    • Probably depends on how fast they hire his replacement and who it is. If they hire Smith, I dont think we’ll flip anybody, haha.

There are a few recruits we have in common.
Otton and TJ Hall come to mind. And there’s an OLineman l, Mark Nabou who used to be a UW commit at one point, who we’re still interested in.

If we hire Lake, that could make flipping a few commitments a little easier. We also dont have a ton of space, so I think UW transfers would be more interesting to us than recruits.

    • Not nice but Lance Hortzclaw and Ryan Otton are the ones we really chased. Vega Ioane we offered but never had much traction there as far as I know.

      • They talked about how they were working out the buyout while he was suspended. Pretty sure that translates to calling big boosters to foot the bill.

      • Now I’m seeing Jay Norvell and Joe Moorhead are the top candidates to replace him. Both have been successful as HC’s, but not wildly. Both make sense given UW having to pay Lake for the next few years.

If the UW community didn’t like Lake shoving players, they’re going to love hearing that one of the reasons Moorhead got fired from MSU was his QB getting an eye injury in a fight during practice.

This recruit did it right so have to call it out. Maybe staff got out the word that we aren’t University of Oregon state. Happy to see it done right and hope we get more like the below.

I am honored to have received an offer from Oregon State University! @alpha_lbu @AlphaRecruits15 @Josh_Montzingo @ParkCityFtbl https://t.co/aJDcBMBQIz

  44. Saw Jake Reichle(Zach’s younger brother) got offered by OSU today. I’ll find out what position they like him at. He mostly plays RB for Lake Oswego Lakeridge and has over 2000 All purpose yards. But he also plays some safety and Linebacker. I could see OSU being interested in him at Safety.
He’s a good kid. Would make a good addition to OSU if he comes here. I’ll hold off on a gut bomb till I learn more about the offer, but I’m already leaning towards him becoming an OSU commit.

  45. I think getting Lake in some capacity would be great for Oregon State. That being said, I think he goes to an SEC program and rehab his image. It wasn’t too long ago where Nick Saban was trying to poach him, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Lake went there as an analyst or some sort of position coach.

    • If lake is on staff in any capacity to help with recruiting he will have to explain himself every time he is in a players parents living room.

  46. Post-game PFF fun:
    Offense
-Nolan is back up to being the #1 passer in the conference
-Fenwick and Baylor are now within .1 of each other’s ratings, giving us the top RB pair in the conference. Fenwick is the top rated pass blocking RB.
-Bradford #2 WR, Harrison #5 giving us the top WR pair in the conference. Champ is on the rise and in the top 15.
-Eldridge is #7 C in the country, top in the conference
-We have 3 G’s in the top 25 nationally, with Brewer (18) the highest rated. His pass blocking rating is still terrible, so I don’t understand why he’s the highest rated, but his run blocking rating is #6 nationally.
-Gray and Kipper are #4 and #5 T’s in the conference giving us…yes, the top pair
-All told, we have the highest ranked offensive personnel in the conference. Utah comes in second.

    -Look they’re just bad, okay?

    • Nolan is not the best qb though in the conference. This is where stats are misleading. He can’t hit a deep ball. I like the under thrown ball to champ that was broke up as opposed to 10 yards too far. Better chance for for a PI call too.

Offensive line needs to cut back on holding penalties. Some of those were tough calls.

      • Right, this is about execution of what they’re asked to do and the decisions they make based on the on-field situations they are in.

      • Not lights out amazing, yeah.

I think if the OL can reduce penalties while affording him protection on passing plays, it will help in the remaining games.

Stats tell half a story at best.

Remember when the stats said Jake Thompson was a good pitcher? I knew he wasn’t. Sure enough 4.97 ERA and 7-17 record in the minors.

    • How about the punting and special teams — thought I heard Leocker was top in the conference at one point or another? Defense is bad but how about a shout out to JS for handing the ball over at least once a game at own 35 yard line…with a decent kicking game sitting on the bench….

  47. Nice to see we’re getting a weekend visit from 2023 QB Braydon Dorman, who I think is one of OSU’s top QB targets currently. (No relation to Rich Dorman)

Also, JUCO CB Bralyn Oliver has announced his official visit coming this weekend. He’s the guy I mentioned the other day who I have a gut bomb for.
