Now What?

We got what we wanted but don’t get to see the product for 8 months.

What should we do in the meantime?

I can’t believe I am saying this, but I am completely satiated with no complaints. There’s not much to criticize, unless you guys want to go after the media, but I think perception is changing with each hire, so I’m not sure we have to do that. It’s happening of it’s own accord.

Maybe we should all migrate to zerohedge for a few months and complain about the government? I hate to waste all this potential rage.

I’m sure we’re all hearing the same names here.

Kevin McGiven (Utah State), Dave Baldwin (Colo State), and Doug Meacham (TCU).

Meacham is probably a long shot. He has spent most of his playing and coaching career in the Big 12. Baldwin has a poor record as a head coach, but he did well as OC with Andersen at Utah State and also did well at CSU. McGiven has only two years experience, but seems like an up and coming OC. Here is some good footage of him. My money would be on Baldwin. Or maybe Andersen goes in a completely new direction. Though like Riley, his MO has been to work with guys he knows and trusts.

Kostol sounds like one of the coolest Beavers ever. In response to my interview request:

Beaverblitz Goes Full Fascism

Ironically and hilariously, a user just sent me an email stating Mamma Machado of Beaverblitz is clamping down on subscribers talking about the information their subscriptions purchase. It’s hard to think of another scenario where you buy a product yet can’t use it.

Embarrassing.

People should just wait an extra day or a few hours for the news to break on Twitter. This type of control freakdom just opens up more opportunities to actual free press, blogs, etc.

If any of my readers have a source inside the OSU AD email me. If we had a source like that plus free, objective press we’d be unstoppable. It’s the one piece lacking from AB. A few years ago I had some guys, but they went quiet.
